Known for releasing some controversial films like Cannibal Holocaust, Cannibal Ferox, and The New York Ripper, the Italian horror market is no stranger to transgressive themes. Though this is a more subtle take on necrophilia than other films covered, it is weird, romantic, and interesting! An underseen gem, Macabre stays true to its name.
