time now for this hour's car review.
I had a chance to drive the2024 subaru wrx.
It comes in base trim level,premium, limited, tr and GT.
I have the TR-RUH.
Okay, could you go through thatone more time?

I have the TR-RUH R-U-H, r-u-h.
I have no clue what that means.
Maybe you can decipher it.
There it is the window stickeron it.
You tell me what the R is.
It's a midsize sedan, seatsfive, including the driver.
This particular body style wasall new in 2022.

Exterior features bulgingfenders on an Impreza sedan body
.
Sharp-looking front end with agreat big hood scoop on it, quad
pipes dual exhaust, but quadpipes with the racy lower
valance in the back.
Tr style wheels look great andexclusive to the trim level.

I curb rashed one really badand I called the lady that takes
care of the car and she said oh, don't worry about it.
I felt so bad.
It was one of those wheelsright there.
I felt so bad that I told her Isaid I'll pay to get the wheel
fixed.
I never do that.
Well, guess what I did do it,what I liked about it?

The overall look and stancegets an A on my list.
What could use improvement?
Offer a hatchback version,because this one's got a trunk.
Anyway, interior highlightsRecaro seats, sports seats
they're standard with thisparticular model High bolstered

with the TR trim level.
Huge infotainment screen that'seasy to use.
Black everything inside Coulduse some color accents, though I
don't know.
Red stitching just doesn't seemenough.
Need some highlights in there,a little pop to it.
Smooth shifter on this thing.
Cargo trunk room well, it'ssmall.
What I liked about it?
The dash layout in this thingis excellent.
What could use improvement?
Bigger differentiation from thepremium trim to this hot rod

2.4 liter boxer turbo motor, 271horsepower, 258 pound-feet of
torque, six-speed manualtransmission.
This is the smoothest shiftingtransmission I think I've ever
had in my entire life.

I got the TR, but Nobody seemsto know what the Roo is.
I think it's the sound you makewhen you scuff a wheel.
Oh God no.
But Nobody seems to know whatthe Rua is.

But I had a lot of things on mybody that were puckering up, oh
no.
Well, stuff happens.
19 miles to Gallon City, 26highway for a combined of 22 is
what it's rated.
I got 25.4 over 301.2 miles.

What I liked about it the poweris plenty adequate for this car.
It's a fashionable car.
What could use improvement isjust throwing this out there at
Subaru.
How about putting another turboon it, make it a twin turbo?
Ooh, I don't know whether thefour-banger would do it or not,
whether it would hold up.
It's screaming.
The TR gets handling upgradesthat include sticky tires and

bigger brakes.
What I liked about it the racecar feel of this car, this thing

It feels like you could justthrow it around in corners and
clearly I did right to the curb,but I didn't do it
intentionally and I wasn'tracing it.
Uh.
Also, what could useimprovement?
I think adjustable dampers onit would be good.
Base trim price $41,655.
