Ryan Gregson won the Sunshine Coast Marathon in a new course record time of 2:14:05, ahead of Steve McKenna and Gishe Abdi Wako. Sarah Short won the marathon in 2:41:12 ahead of Cassie Fien and Siobahn Sefton. Andy Buchanan won the half marathon in a course record time of 1:02:13 clear of Liam Adams and Sebastian Asher, while Tara Palm won in 1:13:54 ahead of Rebecca Lowe and Charlotte Wilson. US Track & Field Champs featured Cole Hocker winning the 5000m but third in the 1500m, with Olympians Yared Nuguse and Hobbs Kessler missing out. Donovan Brazier returned to the 800m throne with 16 year old Cooper Lutkenhaus running an U18 World Record of 1:42.27 to finish second. Josh Kerr cruised to victory in the 5000m at the UK Athletics Champs, while Neil Gourley and Sarah Calvert both held off tight packs to take out their 1500m respective finals. UK Athletics Results
