I AM a Creator [Featured Guest: Kee Merriweather]

IPR Fam we're officially in season six! Sending love, gratitude and appreciation to everyone who's listened and continues to support the IPR movement around the world. This year, in ode to seven years making November 2023, this season will be focusing on the power of the seven chakras by affirming manifestations within ourselves as we navigate through our journeys as creative entrepreneurs. With the affirmation statement, "I AM a Creator", this episode focuses on the second chakra of the body - the sacral chakra - by tapping into the expression of creativity, emotions and identity as a creative entrepreneur and artist. Kee’s work explores the duality of collage and archives through printed matter, literature, research, pedagogy, and archiving. Their work seeks to centralize their lineage that is connected to The Great Migration, Jamaica, and the Black Belt. Kee is the founder behind the Black Matriarch Archive and Homagetoblkmadonnas which is centered around Black mothers, femmes, and women as a source of the spirit of inquiry and hopefully one-day repatriation.
