More about today’s guest: Located in the hills of Monteleone d’Orvieto in Umbria, Guerrini is a family-run estate dedicated to crafting elegant, terroir-driven wines with a focus on Pinot Noir. Although the Guerrini family has been active in the wine world since 1958 as merchants in Rome, the move into production began in the early 2000s, when the family established their modern estate at the border of Umbria and Tuscany. Today, the winery cultivates around 22 acres of vines within an 81-acre estate rich in forest and biodiversity. Guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention and respect for nature, Guerrini produces a refined range of IGT Umbria Pinot Nero wines, Metodo Classico sparkling wines, and limited-edition selections that highlight the estate’s unique microclimate.
