Season 3 Episode 4: ITMKS Grief Talk w/Angel Smith|MYRON SHOULD BE HERE

On the evening of August 31, 2019 the Smith family lives forever changed. Myron Smith was shot and killed in a barbershop in Savannah, GA. Wife Angel Smith, proud Mother shared 2 children Dallas and Bella with her late husband ─ now identify as survivors of Gun Violence. Angel states my life is constantly evolving as I attempt to navigate this” new norm” that is extremely abnormal! She’s a Full time Nursing Student to become a Trauma Nurse furthering her advocacy as a voice in the Medical community for the disproportionate and under represented victims of Gun Violence. She’s the youngest sibling of eight; their upbringing is rooted in Christian Principles. Angel states my spirit though broken is hanging on to hope for brighter days. She’s a New Member for Everytown for Gun Safety survivor network and Moms Demand Action. Angel has been featured on Fox 28 Savannah local news station in honor of Myron’s 49th birthday memorial tribute to share his story teaching their community about the consequences of violence.
