ABOUT TODAY'S EPISODE:
Are you afraid of men? Maybe you wouldn't say that, but statistically it is incredibly common for women (and men!) to have some sort of historical encounter with men that caused them to feel unsafe, which can often translate to a subtle fear of or judgement of men in general. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay there, and will leak over onto your relationship to God as well. But have no fear (haha, no pun intended), in today's episode Taryn Marchena is talking with us through a powerful look at how we are meant to pursue healing in those relationships where fear surfaces, and how Men carry a very special power to reconnect women to SAFETY and security. This NOT a man-bashing episode... quite the opposite, we call out the goodness and greatness inside of most men and cast a vision for how essential their role is in healing the women they interact with. Literal superhero powers they may not realize they have. So, men, women, you're going to want to listen to this one! (and send it to a friend too, because yes, she needs to listen to it.)
ABOUT GUEST:
Taryn is a community activator, teacher and elder at her church and a businesstry owner. She reconnects you to trust after trauma; guiding you to find your anchor so you can live from who you want to be. Last year she worked with over 115 clients 1-on-1 as they broke away from the lies of their past and rediscovered safety. Kayaking on a Colorado lake at sunset and narrating her opinions as she watches Survivor with her daughter and husband are her two favorite pass times. She loves Jesus, spicy-cheezits and vanilla lattes in that order!

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
