Connor and Agent Five force themselves to watch four episodes of a terrible Nicktoon every week so they can uncover the suppressed evils buried within. What appears to be a simple kids' show is revealed to star a callous, self-centered misogynist bent on world domination, and it's up to our hosts to expose his crimes... before it's too late!
Our intrepid researchers take their first steps into the Boy Genius's twisted world, and are immediately beset upon by disgust and horror. Pantsless shrieking children are just the beginning of the atrocities as Jimmy invents an unscrupulous robot slave and endangers everyone thanks to his fragile ego. And Hugh's filthy secret begins to reveal itself...
Covering: When Pants Attack, Birth of a Salesman, Normal Boy
The investigators are fully immersed in the series proper, and thus are forced to watch four episodes of this awful show. Jimmy seizes the forces of life itself to create and then immediately try to kill new family members and then, not content with ruining one timeline, rewrites history in pursuit of money and Wikipedia. And Hugh's murderous nature is revealed as he maims children and animals alike...
Covering: Brobot, The Big P...
Jimmy gets even more big-headed than usual, and that's saying something! The evil boy genius fails to have empathy for his victims even as their roles are reversed, endangers his friends because his misogyny outweighs his survival instinct, and kills hundreds if not thousands with environmental terrorism. Also he cheats at a talent show. And Hugh reveals his ability to be in two places at once...
In an unexpectedly themed episode, we explore the metaphysical properties of the Jimmy Neutron universe. Jimmy switches his mind with everyone and everything in sight, kills himself through his own hubris, and then refuses to admit his ghostliness by trying to disprove the supernatural. And Hugh finds a way to abuse children and animals at the same time...
Taking a break from soul-based alchemy, Jimmy returns to a more mundane form of evil that he visits upon his peers. Jimmy establishes himself as the fascist overlord of Retroville, unleashing biological weapons to both both establish order and sew chaos, and takes the passage of time itself into his clutches. And Hugh leads the citizens of Retroville on a meth-fueled witch hunt to attack his son...
In a shocking turn of events, Jimmy is not the plague on Retroville he normally is. Well, mostly. Half-and-half, I'd say. Jimmy tries to solve the crime of theft, but ends up committing crimes against humanity by accident. Then he actually releases a plague on Retroville, showing that he knows nothing about biology. And Hugh gets his very own episode, showing exactly why he shouldn't be allowed to star in one...
Like many clones of Carl before us, JNISH is alive again! Absolutely nobody pays attention to the writing or animation of these episodes, even as we meet the show's true villain: Britney. Also some unfunny old guy. There's a terrible party, a good video game, and a surprisingly meta representation of this very show! And Hugh destroys that which he loves most...
In this double-feature episode, Agent Five and Connor lower their guards after watching some good Jimmy Neutron media for a change, and are thoroughly broken by its sequel. Jimmy is ostracized when his racist conspiracy theories turn out to be correct... that's it, really. Nothing happens in Eggpire. And Hugh manages to be annoying anyway, ensuring this special isn't over easy...
Jimmy Neutron is a Shithead finally gets its editing situation sorted out, and is now coming to you Sunday afternoons! Connor and Agent Five discuss where they've been, how editing the podcast has changed, and what exciting new projects to anticipate in like, I dunno, 2020? Please excuse the bumps along the way, our audio quality is on the path to recovery!
Our worst nightmares are realized! Hugh takes control of the show, hypocritically denouncing cheating before happily reaping its rewards. Despite refusing to be a parent at all, he proves he can be an even worse dad when his inhibitors are broken. And Jimmy creates a demonic pizza, which somehow feels like an afterthought...
As we reach the end of an era, a primal hatred erupts from Connor and Agent Five. Jimmy tries to upgrade his necromancy device to a more convenient form, but when he gets flung back in time, it's up to his ork powers to save his skin. And Hugh commits an atrocity from which we will never recover...
Following right on the heels of last season, Jimmy needs minerals... for reasons! Jimmy performs a horrific experiment on himself and his friends to buy a pirated Doom WAD, and to fund this, he steals a truckload of ludicrously precious gems. Not all hope is lost, however, when an unexpected hero sets Jimmy up for the greatest embarrassment of his life. And Hugh finally receives the punishment that he deserves...
Following the events of episode 10, Connor and Agent Five are here to bury Season 1 in a shallow grave. Jimmy hits that sweet spot of being evil and incompetent, but what's far more interesting is learning who created the little gremlin in the first place. The hosts give their thoughts on the season overall, and desperately search for a way that the show could have been improved. And Hugh oversees the whole thing, announcing the ho...
It's a Jimmy Neutron movie again! Get back here you coward! Jimmy gets jumped into the fake CIA to avoid being tried for murder, and is tasked with rescuing the world's worst super-spy. There's new friends, old enemies, and tons and tons of booty. And Hugh gets existential after transcending his humanity...
While trying to record their commentary for Attack of the Twonkies, Agent Five's internet suddenly dropped, leaving Connor alone with his thoughts. For reference, he'd been singing this song the entire recording session whenever their was a gap in the conversation, but once Agent Five disappeared, he released his inhibitions and just broke loose.
He tore his vocal chords and we had to stop recording for the night.
You know what would make a great children's television? An eleven-minute homage to a gory horror movie from the 70s! Jimmy murders his friends and family to turn them into undead worker drones, makes a bid to become Lindburgh's technocratic dictator, and attempts to cover up his most murderous creation to date. And Hugh kills wildlife on an unprecedented scale...
All you need to know about these episodes is that the one where billions die is the good one. Jimmy accidentally causes a global extinction event while attempting to proofread his poetry, and then assassinates Santa Claus for fun. Connor nearly goes ballistic, while Agent Five is at a loss for words. And Hugh is unshackled from what little morality he has, allowing him to engage in his darkest fantasies...
It's an absolute roller coaster of quality this week! Sheen's learning disorder is horrifically misdiagnosed, causing him to become the Emperor of Man, but he gets over it and has a cute couple moments with Libby. Jimmy's crimes are business as usual, but fortunately Carl picks up the slack by committing several felonies! And Hugh suffers when the world goes ape on him...
Legitimate trigger warning for discussions of sexual assault in this episode, because yeah, the show really goes there. Connor and Agent Five are pushed to the limits of their patience as Jimmy murders without consequence, practices slavery more than once, and nearly destroys the entire planet. Really, though, the biggest villains at this point are the showrunners. And Hugh's attempts to redeem himself only make him more despicable...
We're all doing our best to get off the Retroville planetoid today! Jimmy does his best to get his son-brother murdered by marauding aliens, and then sells out what few values he actually has to score with a theater kid. But who cares about that, because Connor drops a bombshell so big, Jimmy's neutron bombs are like firecrackers! And Hugh commits an atrocity so great, it is literally unspeakable...
If you've ever wanted to know about champagne, satanism, the Stonewall Uprising, chaos theory, LSD, El Nino, true crime and Rosa Parks, then look no further. Josh and Chuck have you covered.
