Wherever you go there are people wearing Aztec gear and Padres gear. Shirts and hats are flying off the shelves as San Diego gets ready for a big sports weekend. The San Diego State Aztecs made their first Final Four and are only 2 wins away from a national championship. The San Diego Padres made the MLB Final Four last year and hope to win a World Series in 2023. Petco Park and Viejas Arena are special San Diego venues offering great excitement and fun.
Nathan Fletcher Seeks Treatment for Mental Health, Substance Abuse
Huge political news in San Diego as County Board of Supervisors, Nathan Fletcher, steps down from office. Fletcher needs to take time to address PTSD, trauma, and alcoholism which he has struggled with for years. He was considered a lock to win the next election for State Senate and succeed Toni Atkins. We discuss mental health, selfishness (the good kind), and pursuing win-win outcomes.
Homelessness in San Diego is Expanding
New data shows more people are becoming homeless than are finding homes. The housing crisis continues to be a huge problem that is largely caused by local officials. We discuss the data, the demographics, and some of the solutions.
