O ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro e os outros sete réus ainda podem recorrer da decisão confirmada na quinta-feira (11) pela primeira turma do Supremo Tribunal Federal. O recurso, chamado embargos de declaração, serve para esclarecer eventuais omissões e contradições no julgamento. Mas a chance de mudar o resultado é pequena. Outra possibilidade seria tentar levar o caso ao plenário com os embargos infringentes. Porém, esse tipo de recurso só costuma ser aceito quando há mais de um voto contrário à decisão final. Depois de esgotados todos recursos, a única alternativa na Justiça brasileira seria uma revisão criminal, desde que surjam fatos novos. Por isso, a defesa de Bolsonaro já anunciou que, além de recorrer no STF, pretende levar o caso para cortes internacionais.
