Speaker 1 (00:01):
The following is a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com
and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. Is Just for Kicks
broadcasting live from Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters at the Star
in Frisco. Now your hosts Judy Trammel, Hayley Anderson, and
(00:24):
Kelly finn Glass. Hey, everybody, it's Kelly finn Glass with
Just for Kicks. I'm joined by Hayley Anderson and Judy
Trammel and wow, do we have a show for you today.
We have something that we've never done before in the
history of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. We are going to
be joined by our audition judges, and we're going to
be teaching our judges how to judge online. You know,
(00:47):
we're having these virtual online auditions, and we've got to
make all of our computers and all of our WiFi
and all of our dance and adjudication pencils work together
as a team. So we're so excited for this show.
We kind of thought, hey, let's uh, let's let our
listeners in our viewers have a sneak peek in on
(01:08):
on this. So I'm excited. Haley and Judy, how did
you guys enjoy Round one. I loved it. I thought
it was fun. It was fun to see everyone in
their home experience, whether they were in the brage out
in the brass it was. It was a lot of
fun to see the different ways people recorded their videos.
(01:31):
I think, oh, when there's miss Melissa, Hi Melissa, Hi guys, Melissa,
we're doing our little podcast. Hello. And the rest of
the judges were in the waiting room. Your house looks
so pretty, look at you. Thanks, Emma should be in
the waiting room now, just stay with it, and said
we were. We were just saying, we've done round one.
(01:52):
We'll grab all the other judges and pull them in.
And I'm kind of curious Judy and Haley, who do
y'all think is going to have the hardest time figuring
out the technology portion of the judging on our panel today.
That's a tough one, I feel. I know we had
some mishaps at the beginning, but it's all yeah now, um,
(02:16):
I think hopefully our news anchors can kind of figure
out some technology. Yes, Scott. Scott will be all over
it because he deals with green screens and radars and
dopplers and all that kind of fun stuff. Last we
left on with Melissa. She was dealing with crayons and markers.
So we'll see. But let's um, let's bring all our
(02:39):
judges in and let's get this party started. He let
me grab him. That's gonna talk at once. Now we
have its, Hey guys, Hi Marshall, Hi, Scott badgetll I
(03:11):
wor from mccastling, Marshall, Melissa, Brenda Teals joining us. Who
else do we have? I'b got it. Let me put
these raiders on joining us. Hey guys, Hey weather sexited.
Just see you. It's been way way too long now
Brenda and Mareth and Scott. We see you guys every night.
(03:34):
So have you been doing that? Scott? Have you been
doing it from home with a green screen? Are you
guys taking turns going into the studio? We um, we're
not allowed to be in this street. I haven't been
in the study since March seventeenth, so I am using.
I have ring lights and other lights, and I found
in the back of throat work, build everything, and then
I broadcast from my phone. You do from my phone.
(03:55):
That's how we've been doing it the whole entire time.
So I have a whole set up in my living room.
Which you guys can't see right now, yos, it looks nice.
I know. I've been moving card tables around my house.
I have fox folders. I did get ring like that.
I'm sick of it. I'm sitting in front of my
window right now because I just like natural sunlight. Speaking
(04:15):
of sun Scott, padget if you don't get us some
sunshine soon, huh, I'm gonna be in the looney boon
looney van. Yeah, I think most of us will be.
We'll have sunshine by the weekend. I promise by the
end of the weekend. The end of the week it'll
be sunnier. You can get outside next week and not
even a chance of rain. So get outside, and Scott.
(04:36):
Melissa has been homeschooling three kiddos. Oh my gosh, yes,
so she's been busy besides that in her own podcast.
H yeah. The kiddos give me more of an issue
though than the podcast. That's easy compared to, you know,
three kids being cooped up in a house when it's
raining outside to turn it all right, sorry that that's
(04:59):
perfect for slime, Melissa, Uncle Scott over there and we're
gonna have I can slime everywhere. I promise, Marshall. Marshall,
and by the way, Tangerine is as open doors now right. Yes,
we did open partially on the Glad sorry last week,
(05:24):
and I actually start up this week. Yay, that's awesome.
But are people like just blowing up the phone lines
needing a desperate appointment with Marshall or anybody. I need
a lip wax. I need to get your wax, Marshall,
(05:44):
but we digress. I need I need a lot of
wax period. I have to confess. I did get a
manicure and a pedicure done this weekend for my anniversary
and it was I feel like a new woman. Now, yeah,
I bet it was a treat. It was, It really was.
(06:05):
It makes you start feeling grateful for so many of
the things that we just had a regular part for
everyday life. You know, we get acts sort of for sure.
It was very clear that men decided what was essential.
Ain't that the true liquor stores are open. But we
(06:26):
can't get a pedicure, no, ma'am, p deepole over this.
We're getting our hair done. Come on now, Oh that's funny. Brenda.
Hey Marshall. By the way, I'm one episode up on
RuPaul's drag Rice. I watched the Madonna episode yesterday. Oh
my gosh, that favorites this whole season. Oh my gosh,
(06:48):
Gigi good Yes killed it with retro Madonna my favorite.
Oh my goodness. Okay, so let's see. We've got Melissa,
we have Brenda, we have Kelly, Judy Hayley, and we
have Shelly Robber McCastle and one of our associate choreographers.
Because while you guys have been doing your thingum, Shelley
(07:13):
and I have been to London and Israel and back
via the computer, developing the online platform that we're going
to show you. So Melissa and Scott, you guys don't
get to whisper and cheat and giggle and compare notes
this year. You have to do this all by yourself
(07:33):
at your homes, on your computers and make all those
independent decisions. So that's that's your that's the only probably
drawback for you to Jim and Charlotte and Shelley and Shelley,
Bramhall and I have already gone through round one. Do
(07:54):
you'll want to hear a little bit about what we've
already seen for round one? Yes? Absolutely, and by by
standing okay, I had this pool up here, we go, okay, so,
y'all we had fifteen hundred forty five applications, which is
(08:15):
exponentially more than normal, and we now have sixty nine
that you're going to be judging in round two. Now,
added to that sixty nine are thirty of our returning veterans,
so we have a total of ninety nine that will
be vying for a spot on the team this year.
(08:38):
The ages ranged from eighteen to forty seven. We had
forty five states represented and eight foreign countries. We had Australia, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands,
South Africa, the United Kingdom. Ninety two had auditioned previously,
twenty eight were previous finalists, and nine our previous training
(09:01):
camp candidates. We yeah, let's see. We had two hundred
and sixty three bachelor's degrees, thirty three master's degrees, and
six doctorial degrees. We had incredible careers from doctors to
criminal justice, film television anchors, biomedical engineers, you name it.
(09:21):
The careers are just so impressive. And because they were
auditioning from homes, I was making notes of what I
saw as the backgrounds, and this was actually my favorite
part of the audition, and that was the location from
which they were auditioning. So we saw people auditioning on farms,
(09:44):
put put golf courses, garages, airplane hangars of fire station,
living rooms, bathrooms, bridges, pastures. I think the pupa golf
course was very clever. Judy and Hayley or Shelley, do
you'll remember any other scenes? It was just it was
(10:05):
like watching America the Beautiful. It was amazing to see
the scenes in which these girls were auditioning. Did you
see did you mention the bathroom stall? I kind of
glossed past it by just saying bathroom, but yes, there
was a bathroom stall that also included a bathroom stall
(10:26):
sound effect point during during the audition, it was a yeah.
I think it was a multi maybe public restroom stall,
and there might have been a user while one candidate
was auditioning for the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. Well we've had
that happened during auditions before. But it was amazing, y'all
(10:50):
and I was so proud it was You're gonna love
it because you're gonna get to see them introduce themselves
in their environment. Y'all are going to get to see
everything we saw plus the video that they've submitted, which
is our choreography and our kick line. So you're basically
kind of coming in at round two, but you can
spend time and look at everything that we saw at
round one, and it's super cool, super personal, small town
(11:15):
USA all over the It's just it's really cool and
it's just one on one focus. And like I say,
Scottie and Mansa can't be chitchattent during during your judging.
We never FaceTime each other and watch them at the
same time. You can. You two would probably figure it out.
You can screen share, so um, let's see Hayley and
(11:40):
Shelley and Judy keep me on track? Here are y'all
ready to dive in? Am I'm missing anything before we
show them show our judges their homework. I think we're
all good. Shall I do have anything that you need to?
We're all set. I think one thing is is just
to make sure everyone's on mute so that we don't
have any background money voices. I we're trying to walk
(12:02):
through this right, but everyone's here, okay, So I am
going to let's see Haley. Have you made me? Um?
The ability to screen share y'all. Also, their application information
(12:22):
is up there, so you'll be able to read all
of their dance experience. You'll get to read some questions
and answers. You'll be able to read everything about them,
and it's just super fascinating. Okay, share content, share my screen.
So stand by. I'm going to go down here. And
we're not there, okay, So here we are. So I
(12:43):
think I believe you all have your judging addition platform
log in and have you have you have been successful
logging in yet? No, we were supposed to do. I've
only logged into this so I didn't know if a lot.
(13:05):
So you have gotten in? Have you gotten something at
this screen like this? Yes? And I created a password
for it. Okay, now I have to log in because
I just logged out. You're already behind, aren't you. I'm behind.
I didn't know we had this log in thing, so
(13:28):
I'll catch up. No, no worries. Just it came through
E tribe, so you should have it in your email. Okay,
I'm from one of us. It would have come from
E Tribes. Okay, I'll look it. Okay. So I've just
signed in and it's telling me when I was last there,
and I'm going to proceed. I'm not going to save
my password, so you're gonna see this little screen and
you're gonna everything is a live link, so you'll click
(13:51):
over here to Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and then you'll start
seeing all these fabulous people um in a spread shell
spreadsheet style format, and I am gonna go up here.
I'm in the top left hand corner, and I'm going
to round to Kelly. If I am Scott or Melissa
(14:15):
or Londa, then I'm gonna go to your name, but
I'm gonna go to round to Kelly. And it says
I've got sixty six applicants. That's because I've already judged
three this morning. So it's here's my first one coming up.
And you kind of can't mess this up, but you might.
You might kind of fumble around a little bit, just
(14:37):
learning your way around. But I'm gonna click in here
and this is Amelia. And then what you want to
make sure is that you're on your tab. Can you'll
see where here's our judges and my name is highlighted
the first time in You'll want to make sure your
tab is highlighted. And we've got some different labels there
(14:59):
and I'm gonna, um, I'm gonna click right here. It
says click here to be the application, and here it's
gonna be I'm gonna zip through here. Because we're actually
recording this, Chris will have to think about that. Um,
here's employment, here's employment, there's social media accounts about them.
(15:20):
And then I'm going to go on down just to
show you. Here's their head shot, so you can click
on the head shot and see her and then you
can back out of that. Then they also have a
full body shot. Then you can back out of that.
And then here's round one. Someone just play you an
introduction video or y'all finn and they're about fifteen seconds.
(15:50):
We don't have sounding? Do you have sound? Now? Hailey
a little bit at the Indian and it won't jump
(16:10):
around on your screen like it is with her. It's
just since we're sharing it, Okay. So um, now here's
one of our famous garage scenes and this was her.
This was her preliminary dance. But I'm gonna go on
down to what you're going to be judging, which is
the choreography video. Um, and I don't and you'll do
(16:32):
y'all have sound? Here it goes. Do you have sound? Now?
Faintly found a little bit. And we also realized that, y'all,
(17:09):
you're not really getting to see her up against other people,
but they've had more chances to be able to video
it to not make mistakes. So you're kind of just
judging how you think their technique looks, how they I
can't see what I've seen before, so I'll take written
its right now. I'd say she has some effective power,
(17:36):
her footworks just Okay, it doesn't look highly technical, let's
see it. But work does not look technical, Judy, is
there a baseline that we have to go buy? Yeah,
like we have one of the pros or veterans that
have done it that we could see, and we could
(17:56):
probably send you the video of Kashara doing it. We
could send her big drop box link. Yeah, but I
think it'll be more obvious than you think. Who looks good?
I really do. And now she's gonna transition straight into
the kick line that y'all are gonna you're used to,
and you're gonna be looking for the height of the kick,
(18:18):
the power of the kick, the placement, foot closure posture,
and all these little notes are in your judge's books.
But you're you're gonna be used to seeing this, of
course at auditions, y'all used to see this five at
a time. And you'll be able to see some of
(18:42):
her stamina because she just did a minute thirty dance
the whole way through and now she had thirty seconds
to get ready for the kick one no one to
hold her up. Yes, I know it's sexually a little down,
so you know, I would say that those kicks are okay.
(19:02):
That left kick looks a little lower than the right
and the left posse her foot's not controlled on the left.
Mm hmm. She does have the split, so we know
she's got the flexibility. It may be a little tougher. Yeah,
(19:43):
they seem more right there. She's got more control of
her right foot than her left foot. You can see
where the left is starting to get floppy. Yeah. Yeah,
she's pretty girl. That's really pretty. M disappointed. Let's see. Great,
(20:08):
So then you'll go straight down, can y'all hand me? Um?
And like so for example, like I mean, I'm gonna
I'm gonna want to go back and look at their
pictures again and listen to them introduce themselves again. But
just for this session. I would go in here and
say that I think she is um pretty. I thought
(20:32):
that she had some some effective power, but that doesn't
tell me it's all there. I thought her footwork was
not too technical, and I thought of her kicks. Um
in her kicks, her left left foot seemed sloppier, a
(21:00):
little sloppy, a little lower. Um she did. She did
have her splits. So and then here's real critical because
you'll waste a lot of your own time if you
don't hit this save updates. And when you save updates,
you're going to see a green bar at the top
(21:21):
that says success. If you don't save it, then it
won't save and you'll you'll realize, wow, I thought i'd
judged her. No, I judged her, and what the only
thing that happened is you just didn't save it. So
then you go on and you you go on here
down to the bottom, and you go next and then
here is your next candidate, Um Broadway Dance Center. Shall
(21:48):
we go through another one? Or de y'all, y'all kind
of have a hang out it. I got it, but
this is fun. Um, judy, is there one of your
favorites you'd me to find the University of Arizona. Shann,
(22:12):
I'll find y'all some So I'm gonna go out here
and look, Oh, here's some cool just demographics. Here's here's
where they all came from. And you can see the percentage,
like here's the percentage of the ones sixteen percent audition before.
It's fun having all this technology. Um, homestak. You can
(22:33):
see the main homestake was Texas, but California is second. Um.
Wolford w O L F O R D. Claire and
by Scott. Now I know how y'all feel when your
(22:55):
green screen board goes weird. Yeah, and you have to
keep talking through it. Yes, you do, keep talking. Carrie
Woolf for Jude, Yeah, Claire, yes, Claire. Okay. So here's
someone and Judy remembers her. Um, so we will the
(23:16):
first thing again. To get into their form, you need
to click this light pale blue Bannit says click and
view the application. So here's all about Carrie and there's
social media and she'll she's done. They talked about their scholarships.
Here's the performance experience Arizona State University Dance Team. Um,
you'll recognize some of the dance teams where we've had
(23:37):
previous cheerleaders. Here's her first introduction. I'll hear that at
all nothing. Well shucks. I don't know if it's because
(23:59):
I have heads. I'm gonna try. I'm gonna pull my
head set out and try one more time. Everyone. My
name is Claren from Lincoln, Nebraska. I was a choreographer
County nationally. Rand Was that any better? Mm hm oh good? Okay,
So this was her preliminary chance. Okay, she technique, style
(25:09):
and control. Next one was choreography, so that was her
preliminary submersion. And then we'll go on. Um, we sent
(25:34):
them the ones that made its run two, we sent
them the choreography, and now this is what they've sent
back to us, the semifinal choreography and kickline kickline. Wow
(25:59):
you have I think you might love me to? Oh
you do me? Boy? You too? Max? You guys men
(26:21):
just time, so stay sometimes call me coach. I hang
up the phone. You called me back. I don't promiss
me room because I'm just wanting to be like, look
(26:46):
at I'm start to bait to fancy. I just wanted
to and shell her slow jazz. She did love the
(27:29):
slow jazz transition. So she transition indict Something tells me
(27:55):
her kicks will be beautiful. M m. That one's not
(28:25):
as good as I thought it would be. But they're deep.
They're they're deep. Thame Judy. I was like, wait a minute,
I know fro so I thought it was just my computer.
But yeah, she's finding low. On the other side, it
(28:50):
is harder to get through when you're not hooked up
to somebody, but it deep. You're If you're not hooked
to somebody, that's fine. Day. Oh yeah, it might be
the jumping. I thee Yeah, now they look good. Oh yeah,
now yeah the jumping correct, yeah, jumping. So um again,
(29:24):
since this is mine, I'll just I'll just kind of
talk out out here. I right off the bat, I
thought she had beautiful um control, Um, she has technique,
you can see it. She's clean. Um, she has beautiful feet,
(29:45):
her figure would look good in the uniform. Um she
does have and she's punchy, and she does have kicks.
So any any ques questions on any of these areas.
We once we vote, we do save updates. Can we
go back and change our mind. It's very it's very
(30:10):
usual friendly. Um. You can go in and out of
these candidates. Let's see Scott, you would go you would
go into like let's say where is Scott? Round to
Scott and see where it says Scott, You've got sixty
(30:31):
nine people. As you go through them, remember we'll go down. Okay, Um, Shelley,
where would Scott find all of his would he go
back to his completed applications? And he wants to go
back to all of his people, well, he'll he'll find
(30:55):
um yes, judge judges completed, all completed. If he wants
to see everyone all sixty nine, he goes up to
the round two pending and only the ones left for
him to adjudicate or under his name, So those are
the three places. Okay. But if he's if he wants
to go back and rethink some he goes up to
(31:17):
pending that has goot, yes, I see it. Yes you
can change. Um, I was for round one pretty pretty
yes or no? Because I'm I'm looking at you know,
thirty very strong veterans. Um, And can they dance next
to the veteran or replace the veteran? Especially during this
(31:39):
time with as much effort that it's going to take
on everybody's part to travel and get here, it's not
just a courtesy invitation to training camp. It's we're serious,
and they're serious with some you know, extraordinary circumstances to
even make this team. And let me talk about hag
(32:02):
it out and sharing this screen the label column where
there's notes, recommendation and backstory. Do we need to pay
attention to that or do anything we need to know
about those labels. I don't think there were any labels
that you needed to worry about where they's Shelley. The
(32:24):
only thing that I would say is where you see recommendation.
Next week when we're doing interview realm, there will be
a recommendation for everyone that you can click on and read.
At this point, someone like Claire Wolford that we just saw,
I know her two college directors, and I'll have words
(32:46):
from each of them, from Bianca and from Aaron that
you'll be able to read all about Walford. And you'll
see that for everyone next week. And so next week
you'll be able to take that in in addition to
their interviewing kind of buying them to figure out who
this person is. So it's a recommendation. When you see
that red box, you'll you'll know that they have um,
(33:09):
you know something positives coming but um, but otherwise the
other things. Just like that Peter has a backstory. You're
making the reason for that label when you read about
that person. Thank you, sure, Kelly, Kelly, you're muted. Wait,
(33:35):
today's Tuesday, y'all have through Shelley. Did we say Saturdays
to judge Saturday thirtieth Saturday evening. Yes, okay, so then
you'll judge this just this dancing person and judge them
as if you think they can dance with a veteran
or possibly replace a veteran. We have sent y'all the
(33:56):
thirty veterans you have received. I think this document or
you will um that shows you the thirty ladies that
are re auditioning. We also sent you just stats just
the interesting things I read to you, just for fun
facts about who's auditioning. On June first, we will we'll
(34:17):
tabulate all of y'all's votes, and then we will announce
who's invited to round three. And we've kind of inserted
a new a new round, and that'll be a virtual audition.
The virtual audition is going to be moderated, so they
will schedule appointments, they will be asked a few questions.
Those it'll be brief, they'll be recorded in their file,
(34:40):
and then at that point we'll we'll tell you guys
there being interviewed June two, June three, and then you
guys will have June four five Shelley, help me out here,
four and five only five six Shelley Immuta Ley yes,
(35:02):
so um interview second and third and then if you
could take the fourth to finish those up and let
us know, so that so that Kelly and Judy will
have the fifth, sixth, and seventh to make a decision,
and they'll be short questions, but you'll you'll get to
see them being asked the question and how they respond
(35:23):
to it, and then we will make that that imitation
into training town. When training camp will happen is very
dependent obviously on shelter and travel and state regulations, NFL restrictions,
but we're shooting for announcings on June eight with with
(35:45):
luck July sixth start, but that's very pending right now.
If things get compromised further in terms of dates, Judy
is prepared to send homework out to the ladies and
we're invited into training camp via video files and they'll
be learning routines at home until they can eventually travel
(36:07):
to Dallas out of curiosity where there is there going
to be some sort of It may not be the
same sort of makeover day, but will there be something
like that possibly later on in the season this year
or are we still kind of figuring that out now.
I think once we get everybody down, it'll look the same.
It might be pressed, but we'll need to do uniform fittings,
(36:30):
We'll need to do makes We'll want to do a
panel interview with our full panel of judges and let
our full panel of judges meet meet them like we
do traditionally observe them in a rehearsal. We also we're
going to have them do what you guys, a solo
on a stage, kind of similar to what we do
(36:52):
for showgroup auditions, but that would be later in the
summer and it would be a showgroup audition um presented
to you as a costume solo like you're used to
seeing at finals. Got it? Okay? Wow, you guys have
figured everything out. I'm trying to. We're making it up
(37:14):
as we go. M Haley, can we change our password
from that obscure password I've been trying to do that. Yeah,
so you should be able to plug in that first
password and then it will prompt you to change it. Okay,
I'll try that again if you have any issues. Shelley
(37:34):
is going to be y'all's help desk. Okay, He's going
to be sending out an email after this call with
the routine that Kashera has done, so you can see
the full routine as well as that way you have
her contact. If you have any questions throughout the process, Haley,
at what point do you want us to videotape us
doing the process? Is there a cutout date or you
(37:56):
need those videos submitted? M kelly? Do you have a
certain date that you want those? Did Brenda ask when
we want Brenda to submit Brenda's video? Yeah, my kids,
that would be study, But that ship is saled. We've
all already done our own thing. Now she's asking for
(38:17):
like the behind the scenes for our judges to submit
their photos of them judging judging again. Are they sending
those to you, Hailey? Yes, as soon as you can,
because we're gonna we're trying to um incorporate that into
our fans that are following us on social media. They're
just dying to know what's going on. You know, I
have outfits planned. I can't wait about bits marciall. We
(38:40):
do have a collection of some very interesting candidates. We
do have that collection, and we did have some um,
we did have some testing themselves. We had to test
the system. I did a Bohemian Rhapsody vocal performance. M
Haley did a gree Hayley, we should show yours. Hailey
(39:02):
did a great They could go in and watch it themselves.
Me and my lovely back at the answers. Yes, um,
you know, in light of the team work, we had
to test the system. Now, what are the parameters? Also?
(39:23):
You want like thirty seconds? Thirty seconds is great and
just still shots, so kind of like what I sent
over to you for your story would be great. Okay, perfect, good,
Now you wait thirty seconds. It's all right, sorry, thirty
seconds of still shots. You just want a bunch of
still shots of us or a video of us judging,
(39:44):
And that's correct. We can kind of see into your
homes of you guys judging and doing the whole process
to clean I no, yeah, just sing to set up already,
small corner, small corner and let's see if I have
any more notes. I think that is it Judy or
(40:07):
Shelley or Haley, and you confirm that. So the people
like make it through this dancing round, we'll make a
cut before we do the interviews. Correct. So what you
guys are doing now, I think you could. We've got
sixty nine if you like to judge. Like Charlotte, she
likes to break it up, so it's like sixteen a day.
(40:28):
I kind of binge watch and just knock them all out.
But you should be able to cut at least ten
from this round as dancers, and then the interview portion
or more, and then the interview portion the same thing,
and then we'll be inviting them to Dallas and again
(40:50):
they will be meeting up with thirty returning veterans, so
a lot of thirty six out of everything we've talked
about today. If all veterans made it, which are veterans,
you know, kind of have a disadvantage of being separate
and distanced and sheltered as well. But you can do
the math thirty plus thirty six, So you do need
(41:13):
to use a critical lens. Are I'm just glad we
have so many returning Yeah, that's gonna be great. The
interview that you're mentioning, Kelly, is that something they're doing
separately with you guys next week or is that something
we're part of as well. We have told the veterans
they will be reporting to training camp, so we've kind
(41:33):
of just said we will see y'all at training camp
and then it's then it's, you know, a level playing field,
and I think I think it will be competitive at
that point. That's when they will start competing. So right now,
we're all focused on the new applicates. And just so
you know, we've told them on their head shots, on
(41:55):
their costumes, on their choreography, where they sometimes spend money,
we've told them not to spend money on a professional headshot,
a professional costume, higher choreography. It's just not the time
where anybody has disposable income. So keep that in mind.
If you send somebody in less than glitz and glamor
(42:17):
and stage ready, including you know all of them can
and hair can and hair and all that, you know,
they just have less resources right now. But they've lookedful
to me. Are we considering taking back thirty seven this year?
Are we going to go with a mind of thirty six.
I think we should approach it with the mind of
(42:37):
thirty six. But the situation of thirty seven this year
actually worked out really well. It was it was very
helpful to the squad in times of need. We had
some family emergency and some injuries, so it actually worked
out really well. But our mindset is thirty six. Marshall,
(43:00):
you have the group or are we allowed to No,
I was gonna I was gonna wait till you finish
with everything that was DCC related before I could share. Um.
I think I think we are. We have finished our
news and y'all seriously, if you have any questions, Shelley's
going to be Judge's it help Dusk Shelley, you could
share your cell number in this chat if you want.
(43:21):
You can type it into the chat or we can
get it out somewhere easier. I'm going to send something
right after this thank you their problem. Okay, So we'll
stay in touch and we may toss you know, we
may decide, Hey, we want to get back on and
talk about what we what we saw. When I say
we're making making this up, we're definitely learning that we're
going and if we see that we need more feedback.
(43:46):
Please be um generous and with your note taking so
that you can see why you made the decisions you
did in case it helps us kind of come to
a conclusion. And like I say, you can't really mess up.
The worst thing you're gonna do has probably not hit
the save button and you're gonna go back and read
Judge somebody. And you're welcome to go back and watch
(44:07):
the first preliminary round as well, and then we will
stay in touch and hopefully we'll see you guys soon
for a life yes round of meeting. You know we do.
You keep this to that TV show Love Is Blind
where everybody meets in the pods, they finally come out
(44:27):
and you finally get to meet him. It's going to
be really exciting when we finally get to meet these
candidates because I feel like we know more about them
and you definitely will be more focused, Scott. Unless I
was teasing, y'all, but you know you're not judging them
five at a time. It's you. It's one on one
and you're focused and I think you guys will love it.

Welcome back to Just for Kicks. That was fun, wouldn't it,
Judine Haley. When don't get to see everything, that's really
fun just to see everybody and kind of get to
talking to It's been forever and usually we're together at
this point of time judging, so it was nice to
see everyone's faces. Kind of our fix because we need
(47:21):
that interaction with the people that we've been with all
these years and get our mojo back with our panel.
It was fun. You do feed off each other's energies
and sometimes opinions, so that we'll see if this um
if there's more consistency or less consistency amongst the judges
this time. Hey, by the way, don't forget y'all if
(47:43):
you're in quarantine, hair, tragic situations, tangerines opening their doors.
Marshall mentioned it, so hurry it and get back to
Tangerine and get camera ready again. And then we've got
five days to look through these sixty nine candidates for
round two, and then next week we will do the
(48:04):
online virtual interview, so we've got some homework to do,
so look too. It'll be fun to kind of see
the girls. They've had a whole week to learn the
routine and submit their videos, so it'll be interesting to
see how they do doing that process. Expect that they
do better with this choreography than it being the same
(48:26):
day as tradition to cabs. So we'll see y'all. Make
sure you take great notes so we can Yes, we
can see each other's thoughts and opinions, and then we'll
see each other same place next week, right here, just
for kicks. This has been a production of Dallas Cowboys
dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.
