Welcome to Episcopal Divinity School’s new podcast mini-series: Leading Voices: EDS at General Convention. In today’s episode, EDS Interim President the Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas is joined by Bishop DeDe Duncan-Probe from the Diocese of Central New York. Together, they explore the church’s relationship to systemic injustices, what it means to be a part of the broader Anglican communion, and the importance of political engagement for people of faith. The Rt. Rev. Dr. DeDe Duncan-Probe was elected on August 6, 2016, and consecrated as the 11th Bishop of Central New York on December 3, 2016. The Diocese of Central New York comprises nearly 80 parishes and stretches from Canada in the north to Pennsylvania in the south and from Utica in the east to Elmira in the West.
