In episode 2 of the Just Start Tech Podcast, I review Bloom's Taxonomy and Webb's Depth of Knowledge. I discuss how our classrooms might need to shift in order to engage these higher level thinking skills while also understanding the importance of lower level thinking skills. I also share a story about how choice boards created that shift in my classroom, allowing students to demonstrate higher level thinking skills. I also share an interview with Bekah Lyzenga, a 4th-grade teacher at Central Valley Christian School. She shares with us how she used Google Slides to modify her traditional literature circle roles.
