Just nu är flyttande rykande aktuellt. En ny påve kommer snart att flytta till Rom och i Sverige flyttar några jättelika statliga arkiv, proppfulla av samhällsviktiga handlingar som sparats ända sedan 1618. Mil efter mil av arkivmaterial ska kånkas iväg i Östersund och Göteborg.
Att flytta förknippas ofta med att gå in i ett nytt, spännande kapitel i livet. Man byter bostad för att man fått ett nytt jobb, för att man ska börja plugga på en annan ort, för att man förälskat sig i någon som bor i andra änden av sta’n.
Men det kan också kännas vemodigt att lämna ifrån sig nycklarna till den som köpt huset fyllt av alla minnen eller jobbigt att behöva byta till en mindre lägenhet eftersom ekonomin försämrats.
