Drawing on personal memory, the Life EP reads like an audio diary—intensely textured, lushly composed, and grounded in a powerfully human sonic philosophy. ‘The Green Tree’ is a lush, atmospheric groover. Built around a lively bassline and rustling found-sound percussion, the opener progressively transforms quivering pulses and wondersome chord progressions into a melodic flurry of energy, ever sharper and more electric. Named after a beloved tree in his partner’s family home, The Green Tree quietly pulses with emotional gravity—lush, alive, and becoming. ‘Underneath Waters’ dives into a shimmering ocean of resonant percussion and ethereal melody. Anchoring the track with a stripped-down, effective groove, Vini Pistori channels an orchestra of soft, echoing bells and otherworldly whale calls. Melancholic and beautifully vibrant, Underneath Waters delivers a throbbing groover that supercharges the listener's imagination. With ‘Tenebroso’, Pistori ventures into darker territory. Taut and industrial, the track pulses with mangled bells, eerie LFOs, and nightmarish synth flickers. Darkly oscillating across tightly wound, cerebral groove structures, ‘Tenebroso’ unfolds a masterclass on the interplay of tension and relief.
