Composer Nathan Johnson joins to talk about his acclaimed work on the Knives Out films - the latest of which opened this year’s BFI London Film Festival - as well as his music collaboration for Guillermo del Toro's Nightmare Alley.


Finally, actor Russell Tovey reflects on his lead role in Plainclothes, a powerful new drama set in the 1990s about a policeman who entraps gay men but finds himself unexpectedly drawn to one of his targets.


In the second part of the show, coming out soon, you'll hear from director Nia DaCosta on her new film Hedda and her work on the upcoming 28 Years Later: Temple of Bones, along with director and film editor Mark Jenkin, discussing his third and brilliant feature, Rose of Nevada.
