The Hawks score 105 points through 3 quarters and beat the Grizzlies 132 - 100. A monster 3rd quarter - 43 points on 17/24 shooting from the Hawks compared to 18 points on 4/20 shooting from the Grizzlies - built the lead to over 40 points. The Grizzlies third team would cut the lead down to under 25 points in the 4th quarter before the Hawk would finish this one off.
Trae Young had 31 points and 10 assists, Clint Capela had 23 points and 17 boards, and John Collins had 21 points on just 11 shots.
The Griz lost their star point guard, Ja Morant, just 8 minutes into the contest. The Memphis offense never got going after that.
The Hawks face the Knicks on Saturday night.
