The Evergy Plaza Lighting Ceremony is Thanksgiving night, and if you've ever looked at the 80 miles of lights in awe, you have Matt Deardorff and two other electricians to thank. They're the unsung heroes of Kansas City's favorite holiday tradition. Their work starts in August each year and continues for much of the year.
