For lack of a better phrase, Kpop is a big influence on our desire. Whether it is a momentary daydream or some full-fledged fan fiction. The effort and craft these idols and their companies exhibit influence the way we feel, see, and hear them. Give them more skinship, they say and they will pay! Throw in a little queer love and they will follow and tweet and stan. Not everything is a tactic at first but once it makes money for these companies, then it is used and abused to the point where fans recognize it but can't get enough of it.
