I denne episoden diskuterer vi Johnatan Blows foredrag «Preventing the Collapse of Civilization»[1], som vi fikk sendt inn som tips fra en lytter. Kjernen i foredraget er at software blir stadig mer komplisert og vi forstår mindre og mindre av fundamentet vi bygger på, og dette fører igjen til dårligere og dårligere software. Litt på samme måte som at teknologi har gått tapt når sivilisasjoner har gått til grunne før i historien, kan det være at vi setter oss selv i en tilsvarende situasjon med programmering?
