Augusta beigās izsludināja ikgadējo sociālās uzņēmējdarbības piču konkursu „Tam labam būs augt”. Par konkursu un citiem ar sociālo uzņēmējdarbību saistītiem jaunumiem saruna raidījumā Kā labāk dzīvot. Raidījuma viesi Latvijas Sociālās uzņēmējdarbības asociācijas vadītājas vietniece Līva Švarce, Labklājības ministrijas Darba tirgus politikas departamenta direktors Imants Lipskis, sociālā uzņēmuma "BJMK Rokskola" vadītāja Zane Rožkalna, sociālā uzņēmuma "Mājas TUVU" projektu vadītāja Zane Dreimane. Līdz 19. septembrim esošie un topošie sociālie uzņēmēji no visas Latvijas var pieteikties ikgadējā sociālās uzņēmējdarbības piču jeb prezentāciju konkursā “Tam labam būs augt 2025”. Kopējais balvu fonds – finansējums sociālās biznesa idejas realizēšanai vai organizācijas attīstībai – ir 8000 eiro. Konkursā var piedalīties gan juridiskas, gan fiziskas personas. Tie var būt uzņēmumi ar vai bez sociālā uzņēmuma statusa, biedrības un nodibinājumi, kam nepieciešamas finansējums kādas jaunas idejas realizēšanai vai organizācijas attīstībai. Tāpat var pietiekties individuālas personas, kuras vēl tikai lolo savu sociālās uzņēmējdarbības ideju un meklē tai starta finansējumu. Pieteikt var organizāciju vai biznesa ideju, kas atbilst sociālās uzņēmējdarbības būtībai un definīcijai – ražot preces vai sniegt pakalpojumus ar mērķi risināt kādu sociālo problēmu un radīt labumu sabiedrībai. Konkursu rīko Latvijas Sociālās uzņēmējdarbības asociācija kopā ar Luminor banku lai stiprinātu un attīstītu sociālo uzņēmējdarbību.
