В начале следующего года ждем выход в издательстве Inspiria романа китайского писателя Мо Яня, лауреата Нобелевской премии по литературе: «Смерть пахнет сандалом» (檀香刑, также известен под названием «Казнь сандалового дерева»). Выход на русском этого произведения — результат усилий четырех китаистов.
Перевод — в исполнении покойного Игоря Егорова, известного специалиста по произведениям Мо Яня. Преждевременная кончина переводчика в 2022 году стала большой потерей для всей российской китаистики.
Алина Перлова и Алексей Родионов сделали все, чтобы рукопись Егорова нашла свое издательство, а Кирилл Батыгин выступил литературным редактором и дополнительным переводчиком произведения.
Вместе с Алиной, Алексеем и Кириллом мы поговорили о романе, Мо Яне, Игоре Егорове, китайской литературе, переводах и планах на будущее.
