Sus familias habían llegado décadas antes a la capital desde la Araucanía, buscando salir de la pobreza en la que se encuentran sumidas su comunidades rurales desde la ocupación por parte del Estado chileno del territorio que ellos llaman Wallmapu. Siempre supieron que eran mapuche, pero no sabían qué implicaba. Hasta que, en medio de la ciudad, se reencontraron con su cultura. Y entonces, vino la idea: si mezclaban el rap y las reivindicaciones de su pueblo, atraerían a más jóvenes a su recuperación cultural.
