Héctor es el policía responsable de la investigación de un presunto caso de pornografía infantil en Castellans, un pequeño pueblo de Lleida. Quiere registrar una casa donde vive un adulto, David Donet, y varios niños y jóvenes tutelados por él.
La policía lleva esperando semanas la autorización del juez pero parece no llegar nunca. Un mes más tarde, el juzgado da permiso para entrar al domicilio.
Es temprano, aún no ha amanecido y en una calle desierta de Castellans esperan seis agentes de policía, una secretaria judicial y un miembro de la unidad central de informática forense. Todos ellos están preparados para comenzar el registro, pero no va a ser tan sencillo como parecía. Entre las miradas atentas y confundidas de los chavales, la policía rebusca por cajones, discos duros, ordenadores… No encuentran absolutamente nada.
