Trying to stay beautiful and eat healthy? Aren’t we all. Listen in this week as Dr. Vivien Fam discusses the role of fruits and vegetables in the skin, and how our gut reaction may not always be the right one. Each Thursday, join Dr. Raja and Dr. Hadar, board certified dermatologists, as they share the latest evidence based research in integrative dermatology. To learn more about the impact of food on the skin, attend Dr. Fam's session at the 2021 Integrative Dermatology Symposium.

Vivien Fam, PhD RD received a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biology from UC Davis and is also a Registered Dietitian. She has always been interested in the effects of nutrition on skin health, from acute conditions such as pressure ulcers to chronic medical conditions such as acne and psoriasis to cosmetic concerns such as facial wrinkles, dryness, and dullness. Dr. Fam also believes that nutrition recommendations should be targeted to a person's dietary habits and preferences which can be influenced by traditions, cultures, and socioeconomic status.
