La dessinatrice Aurélie Calmet aurait rêvé de vivre au 18è siècle, pour suivre les grandes expéditions naturalistes sur des bateaux à travers le monde, et en rapporter des témoignages illustrés.
Aujourd’hui, cela ne semble plus possible. Jusqu'à ce qu'une rencontre lui permette d’embarquer pour une grande expédition scientifique dans une région pétrie de fantasmes : la côte Est du Groenland, aride et dangereuse.
