Le Model Context Protocol, aussi appelé Modular Capability Protocol, est un protocole standardisé qui permet aux modèles d’intelligence artificielle (comme Claude ou ChatGPT) de communiquer avec des outils externes (API, services, fonctions) de façon structurée.
En clair, MCP définit comment un modèle peut savoir ce qu’un outil peut faire, comment l’interroger, et comment traiter la réponse, sans se soucier de la technologie utilisée derrière.
