In this episode, the Haitian sensation Will Baptiste returns to continue our discussion on men surviving and thriving in today's society but through the lens of his book, The Will To Rise: How To Persevere In The Face of Adversity. This book touches on some areas of life and things men experience, but they often have to keep it close hold and never, ever discuss it. We are talking about things like sexual abuse and trauma, black men's incarceration, domestic violence, mental health, and so much more. Some questions we answer are:

  • What happens to men who are victims of abuse?
  • How do women take advantage of men, and how does it impact them?
  • Can a woman raise a son?
  • Can men and women be friends?

If you wonder how these questions relate to adversity in a man's life, you'll have to tune in and listen to this episode. Will shares what he has learned from his personal experience and that of those he has worked with to educate both men and women and begin to shift our relationships. It's time to raise your awareness, gain acceptance, and take action.
