Thank you for patiently waiting, my babes. This is the last solo episode for awhile!
Pardon my cold on this. <3
The Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God used fear of apocalyptic proportions to persuade its followers to give up all their earthly possessions and devote themselves to the cult. The abusive tactics are similar to many others we've discussed on the show before, and sadly, this didn't end any better than those. The majority of the Movement's followers would lose their lives to the homicidal tendencies of its leadership, being poisoned, bludgeoned, and trapped and a terrible fire, after one too many failed end of days predictions.
Dive with me down the cult rabbit hole, and Let's Get Dark.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
