Asian dating site Shaadi.com has removed a skin tone descriptor after growing online backlash. The option asks those who use the site to describe their skin tone colour, as well as asking users to input the preferred skin colour of their prospective partner. As ongoing anti-racism protests spread worlwide, more and more South Asians are rejecting the colourism that exists within their own communities.
