1. Jesus is eternal. - John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2. Jesus is the Word. - John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
3. Jesus is God. - John 1:1 & 3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4. Jesus is separate from God. - John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
5. Jesus is life. - John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
6. Jesus is light. - John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
7. Jesus lit up the darkness and was rejected. - John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
