(00:03):
Hi, I'm Brandon. I love lice.
Lice. You love lice, buddy and I.
Love, they're really bad. For you?
Nope. You know what I love?
Lice. I can't be around you anymore.
I'm Patrick Serrano and I am a lice expert.

(00:24):
I can't abide by this. I'm Dan.
I despise this intro. I despise Lifetime, Christmas or
whatever. These are movies and this is the
day. You just the problem is not that

(00:53):
you have the license that you love them.
That's the problem is most people have that feeling in
their head and they're going, I got to get this taken care of
right away. You are like you lean in and I
want to, I want to. Apologize because I purposely
brought the lice to Bramble Fest.
I thought everybody else was on board with the lice.
This is 2 years ago. We did a lice bit because there

(01:14):
was a chance we thought I might have.
I don't remember this. You don't remember this?
No two years ago my wife workingin Pediatrics got lice nice and
I immediate it was 2 days beforeBramble fest.
She told me and she went to get it fixed and I was like
immediately my head started justitching like crazy and so I went

(01:35):
to the facility where they can get rid of him immediately in
like 24 hour turn around and I didn't have any lice.
They did a full thing, but like so this is not our first trip
around the lice sun around Bramble Fest if you can believe.
It. OK, but you love the lice.
I love the lice and that's what you need to know.
I also love Lifetime Christmas movies and that's what we're
talking about here during Christmas in July, or at least

(01:56):
Lifetime Christmas adjacent movies winter.
Cold cares if it's good Christmas winter.
Get cozy. You know you want to get cozy.
I don't want some sort of Everglades swamp murder.
I want ice, I want snow, I want cold.
And that is what we're promised today with the we're promised.

(02:18):
Tomorrow, you know. With Ice Rd.
Killer, which I'm very excited about for Patrick.
Hello, how are you? And it's great to see you.
Doing good. Yep, Ramble Fest was so much
fun. So much fun.
Loved and you loved it. You only got locked out of your
room one time. That's right.
And that's a record for Ramble. Fest favorite part Favorite part

(02:41):
of Ramble Fest? Favorite part Jack's doing the
the Arab S and and Arab S, yes. What's that?
It's the silks of the silk. Yeah, those things, yeah.
Yeah, so cool. Awesome.
Ariel's is the silk. What's Aribes is a dance.

(03:02):
You meant Ariel? Aribes, I meant the the hangy.
An Ariel Aribes is what she did,and it was glorious.
This is what I why we're having a hard time.
Early, but it was like Thursday was her, Friday was her night.
Why we're having a hard time describing it is it is kind of
its own thing and it's it is a wonder to behold.

(03:24):
And it was beautiful and it was wonderful.
Shout out to the shout out to Jack.
Pink Pink tried it first and didn't really succeed.
Jax nailed it. Yes.
Man, Jax. Is catching strays jacks?
Is our better pink? OK.
Right is the truer and better pink.
The truer and better. Pink.

(03:45):
That's right, Jax. Is the truer and.
Better pink, right? True because.
She never did the the she never had to do the pink hair.
No, she didn't have to. She is the need to do that.
She's gonna get the party. Started though.
She's gonna get the party start. That's right.
That's exactly. She's gonna get the party
started. She's gonna.
I don't know any Pink songs. Actually I.

(04:06):
Said raise your glass. I gave you a second one.
Thanks. Also that one song about.
Those are the two big, big ones.Right like she's like left her
husband. Raise your glass if you are
wrong. And what's that one way close?
And it's like, serious. What's that pink song, dad?
Never be, never be. Anything nitty gritty.

(04:31):
It's a dumb song. Dare you try So.
So what? I'm not a rock star.
I got my rock moves and I don't need you.
Guess what? I'm having more fun.
Now that we're done, I'm going to show you.

(04:52):
Yeah. So.
What? I'm trying to say is.
Just give me a reason with Nate Ruse from the chat.
Absolutely. Oh yeah, she's.
In just a little bits enough. Yeah, What I'm trying to say is
Jack Jax is our pink. She's our pink.
True, right. And clearly I'm the Christina.
OK, Yeah. 100% let's. Talk, if we're being, if we're

(05:14):
being Moulin Rouge. Moulin Rouge, Yeah.
People, we need a Missy. We need a Missy.
We need a Missy. Let's talk Ice Rd. killers
before we get in trouble. What is this one?
OK Ice Rd. Killer stars Sarah Allen, Colton

(05:36):
Royce and Zoe Belkin. Yes, the gang.
The Kang's all. Here, they're all there yes, we
start off on a on a icy Rd., which is good that's.
Good. It's a good title.
Yeah, I will say good star, strong start as far as the title
is concerned. Yeah.
And, and we see a mother, she's talking on the phone to like,

(05:59):
college administrators, like arguing about tuition.
And she's like, you know, reallyupset about the money and all
that stuff. And you can tell.
You can tell that she's in a little bit of a financial pickle
because her heat is not working and she's all bundled up.

(06:20):
She's all bundled up in the car.The car has no heat.
We've been there, right? We've all.
Been there. We've all been we've.
All been there. And you know what?
That's why I like the winter more though, because you can
always put on more clothes. You can only get so naked, you
know what I mean? You.
Can only get so naked. You said it.
True, true. And as she's talking, distracted
on the phone. Dangerous.

(06:40):
Don't talk on the phone while you're driving.
Helen almost run. Her name's Helen.
She almost runs over a pedestrians slash hitchhiker.
She. Almost was the Ice Rd.
Killer. She almost was the Ice Rd.
killer yes, she has to swerve and like kind of like she
doesn't crash. She just kind of like goes off

(07:00):
the side. Yeah, Fish tails out and the
girl who she almost hit like comes and hits her window and
it's like, what the heck, man? This is really, yeah, this is
good stuff, One of those. You can tell this girl is sassy.
She is, like, going to tell you what she thinks.
Yes, she is. Her name is Carly.
Carly. She reminds Helen of her

(07:21):
daughter, Carly Rae Jackson. Lauren.
Who? Carly.
Yeah. Carly Rae Jepsen.
And Lauren is Helen's daughter who's in college.
She's going to pick up the daughter for Christmas break.
Maybe. Yep.
Maybe. We don't talk about Christmas,
but. We don't talk about Christmas.
No, no, we don't talk about Christmas, but.

(07:44):
It was on Christmas. Day.
Sorry. So Helen gives Carly a ride.
Carly isn't as like, trustworthy.
You know, picking a hitchhiker is dangerous.
Like you shouldn't pick up hitchhikers.
This is in the 70s so. You're right, it's not the 70s.

(08:05):
But it does listen. It's tough.
You almost hit her and it's freezing outside.
I I But you would still pick up a hitchhiker in the year of our
Lord 2025. I would definitely.
Consider it, I've given people rides around town before, so
like I've been at a QT or the Publix and somebody's like, I
need to get and they say the location out loud and I go, I'll
take you. I've done that.

(08:26):
So I I will say that I guess that's in a specific.
Situation where I'm in a but icestorm, it's really cold outside
and I almost hit somebody and they're freezing out there.
I yes, I would probably give them a ride, I'd like to think.
You don't want to be an Ice Rd. Killer I.
Don't want to be an Ice Rd. killer.
And I would constantly like, forthe rest of the day, I'd be
thinking, gosh, I hope that they're OK.
I hope they got some more warm. And so, yeah, I like to think

(08:50):
that I would pick up a hitchhiker if it was really cold
outside. Yeah, I definitely wouldn't.
I might call them maneuver, but that's that's it.
Yeah, that's it. So we learned that Carly is a
bad hitchhiker. She's texting.
We see in little text bubbles that pop up.
She's texting with her boyfriend, Boyd and.

(09:14):
Boyd, she's like. Yeah, they're working some type
of con where she gets in the car, he follows behind in
another car and she's like trying to find out like how rich
she is. She's like asking her what her
job is and like I. Gotta be honest, I'm foggy on
the con details here, but it is clear that this is a thing that
they do. Boyd, like, follows behind.

(09:36):
She gets somebody to. End up robbing.
And then they end up, yeah, I guess so, but it's not.
A con That's just a robbery. Yeah, that's just a Rob job.
It's Rob Job. That was really good.
I can't get myself by surprise there.
But yeah, she begins to realize very quickly, oh, this woman
doesn't have money. The heat in her car doesn't

(09:56):
work. She's like a teacher.
She's like a board mission. Boyd.
A board mission. Not worth it.
For real. And Boyd is like no follows.
Through we're going to get we'rewe're doing this.
It's a Rob job. So they pull into a gas station
and the glove box becomes open somehow, and there's a gun
inside. And Carly's like, OK, we really

(10:18):
need to stop there's. Someone's got a gun slash, Rob.
Yeah, aborts a gun. There's a gun.
We we can't deal with this. She tries to talk to Boyd, but
the daughter is there. Laura.
Laura. Yeah, yeah, they, they get to
the college where she's at and they're going to pick her up for
a break, I guess, or whatever. And she's like, who's this

(10:42):
random girl? What is the?
Deal killed her, so I picked herup.
Yeah, basically that's the that's the whole thing.
And her daughter, her daughter'svery annoyed that she is going
to have to endure this ride withanother person that she doesn't.
Know the worst strangers because.
She's got something to talk to mom about, she's got serious
stuff to talk about, and now shecan't do it.

(11:03):
So that's where we're at. She she has a secret and we're
gonna find out what it is later, but just know she has a secret
and she's annoyed and. She's annoyed.
Great, so they they continue on their journey.
Hold on, hold on hold. On a second.
So at at the they pick up the daughter, right?

(11:24):
And they pull off. Boyd is watching them.
Right, Boyd is still in on boardwith the con.
Yes Boyd has parked the car and was watching them and they they
pull off so he goes to back up when a semi truck semi pulls up
behind and he's like hey bro move move and the person is not
responding. So Boyd gets out of the car and

(11:48):
it's just like what gives? One of those numbers steps up to
see who the driver is. The drivers not there.
Driver attacks him from behind. The Ice Rd. killers got Ice Rd.
killed. That's what it seems.
We just when you think you know who the Ice Rd.
Killer is, another one comes from behind.
They're everywhere. So and he grabs Boyd.

(12:11):
I think he like throws him into the truck with him and grabs
Boyd's phone. OK, so that's where we're at.
OK, And got it. Yes, one I.
Didn't see it coming. Feature One key feature that Dan
for your imagination, the the trucker has a teddy bear hanging
from the the mirror. Yes.

(12:31):
Classic creeper son there, yes. And wears a a big winter jacket
with a hood, a fur lined hood soyou can't see his face.
Fur lined hood, can't see his face.
Teddy bear hanging from the rear.
The teddy bear slasher is what we're going to call him.
I love that. So yes, we have now the text

(12:56):
coming in to Carly from Boyd quote UN quote, but it's really
the driver the the with teddy bear slasher.
He he starts chasing them and they're driving.
You know, he has to catch up to them.
So he's in his truck like speeding, speeding, speeding.
And Helen sees him in the rearview mirror and it's like,

(13:19):
oh, this truck is coming on really fast.
The driver goes past them. I need to explain the driving
because you know me and driving. It's important goes pass goes,
goes in front of them and then slams on the brakes.
And then Helen has to like, you know, suddenly stop on a nicey
Rd. It's very dangerous.

(13:39):
And they they're like, what the heck is wrong with this guy?
Just pass him, Just pass him. So they they go to pass the
truck again. And as they're passing, Carly
rolls down the window. She gives them the finger, which
is blurred and she's but. She rolled down her window.
Yeah, she does. She.
Rolled that window down, rolled it down and she's like screw

(14:02):
you. I know a lot of people who will
give the finger in traffic but stick to screw you and not the F
word. That's such a Venn diagram of
just her. Screw you, but it is funny that
they. It's so good.
I think they they must have not been planning on getting the
finger in the shot, but they didand so they blurred out.

(14:23):
But you. Can't do that on on a lifetime
I. Know, I guess you can't.
So they blurred out and they blurred and I bought, I bought
this movie, by the way, I boughtthis movie on Amazon Prime.
And you did. What?
We're not reimbursed, right? No, no, I this, this was out of
my own budget. Yeah, OK.

(14:46):
And it still was blurred. Interesting.
Not even in the and I was like prime cut.
Could we? Could we get?
The I paid, I paid for this movie.
Give me the finger. Paid for that finger.
Give me the finger. Give me the finger.
Give me the finger. Well, OK.
Give me the finger. Take us to break.
Take us to break. We're going to be right back

(15:07):
here and take all. You see what I did there?
I changed. This really good stuff.
How's the lies going? It's so good it hurts so good
it. Hurts so good.
OK, so they are in a bit of a race now with this truck and

(15:29):
there has been blood fingers, there has been screw use.
Things are getting serious. It's great because Helen knows
about truckers, she says. Carly, knock it off.
You shouldn't mess with truckers.
I know because my husband used to be 1.
Yeah. And that's going to come back,

(15:49):
by the way, the fact that her. She says she just put it in the.
Old multiple times, multiple times.
She, she is going to use that knowledge at some point, all
right, about the trucker life, yeah.
Trucker. Trucker never forgets.
They almost get run off the road, You know it's not great.
They need to take a break. They're stressed.

(16:10):
It's not good. Helen and Laura agree that
they're going to just like, pulloff and stay at like a hotel,
right? Or something like that, instead
of like, filing a police report because you know that that would
be too much for the road rage. They don't have the license
plate. So they're just going to like,
go rest. That's right.

(16:31):
Let's just go to a a little, a little hotel, a motel hotel
holiday. Inn, That's right.
And just sleep it off. And tomorrow will be better.
Maybe it'll be warmer. Yeah.
So maybe the ice will be melted.Yeah.
Gravel Rd. Killer.
They have one room together and Carly's just like there's a

(16:53):
little like restaurant attached to the motel.
So Helen and Laura go to the restaurant, Carly stays behind
and it's like rifling through all their stuff, stealing.
She finds like $500 in cash, some jewelry she's ready to.
Go she's she's, she's done the job.
She's conned it. Yeah, she conned it.
She goes outside, it's freezing cold and she's waiting for a boy

(17:15):
to pick her up and she's gets out her phone.
A text comes in and it says I killed your boyfriend or Boyd's
dead. You're next.
Yeah, with like a picture of Boyd being like this you.
Remember the horror? Movie here next.
Yeah, I do. It's.
A fun time. So now she's freaking out now.
She's Boyd's dead. You're next freaking out.

(17:36):
Yeah, she screams. She's like, you know?
It's good. These are both really quality
guys. You guys should do ADR work and
action good stuff. You guys are pros man.
It's serious. I don't have a scream, but she

(17:57):
has a scream. She's a good scream, a good
scream. I'm always jealous of people who
can scream because I just can't.Can you try, try, give us, give
us a good one and give us a realgood one?
Hey, that was worth my whole morning right there.
Let me. Try because I don't know if I
can actually do this. OK, so I see somebody dead and I

(18:19):
go. OK.
Can I give it a go? Yeah.
What was that? Those are pretty good.
That's good. It's hard, man.
That's good. Just wouldn't be my reaction.
What give it? Give us one more go.
No go. Hide.
You Patrick Serrano is giving screams like he's giving screams

(18:41):
like he was pulled on stage during a Whose Line Is It Anyway
live event. I, I, I don't have a scream like
I ride on, I ride on roller coasters and I'm like, whoa,
this is whoa, whoa. Whoa, boy.
Yeah, I'm one of those like verbal.

(19:01):
I have to like. You scream like a ghost haunting
somebody. Yeah, or if I'm startled, I
don't. I just don't make a sound.
I'm just like, you know. What if you see a bug?
Oh if I see a bug I just run away and burn the house.
Run away and burn the house down.
Yeah, well, you have to. No bugs.

(19:22):
No bugs. Bugs.
What about lice bugs? What are your thoughts?
What are your thoughts on Lice He's.
In on lice, he's always a lice. Expert.
I am the lice expert, so we'll get into it later.
Yeah, it's gonna come back. Trust us.
So Carly goes back inside to thehotel room.
She she gets a a flower vase to protect herself and she's very

(19:43):
scared. She puts everything back, all
the stuff she stole. She's because.
She was only doing it. She was only doing it for Boyd.
That's right. Boyd was the mastermind behind
all of these, but. Yeah, behind the Rob jobs.
And they're like. That's right.
You know they were going to do 1where they just went to a party
and mingled and then they robbedit.
Do you know what it's called? What's that?
A hob nob? Rob, drop the.
Heck of it. That's good.

(20:07):
That's so stupid. Like that dumb.
So she the coast is clear. She rushes to the restaurant to
go talk to Laura. Who's there?
Her Helen's gone to bed. Laura is like, what's going on?
Why are you so upset? Carla's like, I need shots,
let's do shots. And Laura doesn't do shots.
She's like, I can't do shots. You know what?

(20:29):
You know what happens when? I do a shot and Carla's like,
OK, what do you mean you can't do shots?
And this is a Lifetime movie, don't forget.
So that means you're pregnant? Yes, yes, the.
One and only reason why someone would not do shots because
they're pregnant. And that is the thing that she
wants to tell her mom makes sense but can't.
And even earlier, I think at thewhen they were sitting at the

(20:52):
diner earlier, just the two of them, mom and daughter, she was
like, I have something to tell you.
And mom was like, I have something to tell you too.
And then she didn't let her tellher the thing that she she.
So she wants to tell her mom. She's nervous.
One of my least favorite tropes in movies is I have a very
important thing that I need to tell you, and there's all of
these reasons not to. I hate that.

(21:12):
Yeah, well. Like, if you have information
that you have to like, get to someone else, that should be
like, I just don't get it. When there's like, well, I guess
I'll tell them later. It's like, no, you pull them
aside, you're gonna need to talkto you right now.
I just don't. It drives me nuts.
And like, not just Lifetime movies, Hallmark movies, but
like, movies in the theaters do this regularly.

(21:33):
It's just, I hate it. Sorry.
Yeah, I don't know what that what that joke's about.
Well, I, I, yeah, I don't think it happens very often, but I do
think that there are people who, when they have big news to
share, they're scared and they will use any possible excuse not
to. I do think it's a thing that
happens. I'm just the opposite.
I know you're just. Like I gotta go when, when can

(21:54):
we do this? Let's do this as soon as we
possible. Yeah, yeah.
I think a lot of people aren't that way.
Yeah. And everybody.
They're waiting for the right moment.
That's. Right.
The right moment. And you know what?
Everybody matters. Dan, everybody does matter, but
the longer you do that, the morewhere you're putting yourself in
a situation where you could be, someone could be really hurt.
You're putting yourself in a bitof a jam.
You're right. Yeah.
And the jam is gonna jam here. Jam's gonna jam here.

(22:16):
Yeah. James.
James be jamming. That's.
Right. But she's like, hey, Carly,
don't tell my mom, please. I'm going to do it, but I just
haven't been able to yet. And Carly's like, honestly, like
this isn't even top three thingsthat I have to worry about right
now because. Remember, she's like hello, my
boyfriend is dead. I know about boy boy be dead, so
yeah, your secret's safe with me, basically.

(22:38):
Right, so Helen is in the motel room.
She's getting ready for bed and there's a knock at the door.
She opens the door and there is a teddy bear hanging outside.
With a snap. Teddy bear noose, so I'm on.
Full slasher movie now this is great.
So scary and she is like she, I don't know what she does.

(23:00):
She goes and gets, she gets her gun because we have the gun.
She gets the gun. She goes over to the truck.
Yeah, because she sees the truckfrom earlier.
She's like, oh, clearly he's here to to goof on me.
And she's like, well, I know what to do about this because
why? Because my parents were truck.
Drivers her husband, but yes. Her husband was a truck.

(23:23):
Driver, yes, so she knows how to.
I live the life. What is she going to do?
She's going to like cut the something to make it to where he
can't. Cut the blue wire.
Cut the she, cut the wire. She cuts the wires.
She knows which wire. She pulls, she yeah, she cuts
the wire. She's like, this is silly,
you're gone. The weather is getting worse and

(23:43):
worse. But Helen's like, girls, we got
to go. We got to get out of.
Here, that's right. And because we've we've, I cut
the wires killer, I cut the wires, we got to make our move.
Right time to go and let's see. Sorry.
Oh, OK. So they're they're they see some

(24:05):
like cop cars like as they're driving and Carly recognizes the
car because it's Boyd's car, like pulled over like.
Big Boyd. Looks like it was like, yeah,
the police are like investigating the car, like
what's this car doing here? And she's like, pull over, pull
over. And they're like, why would we
pull over? Like this is we're we're getting

(24:25):
away from danger. We're not trying to get closer
to danger. And Carly is just like, no,
we're stopping. So they talked to the police
officer. They're like, we think we're
being followed by some trucker guy.
And then Carly just kind of runsoff because she's she knows Boyd
is in the woods somewhere. Yeah, and I'm going to be.
Honest. I am so impressed by your

(24:48):
restraint for to not talk about how hot this cop is.
This is a hot cop. Oh yeah, I know, I know.
This is a hot cop. I mentioned it in the thing in
the in my notes. But yes, he's got a good beard,
he's got some kissable lips, andyeah, just very hot.
So yeah, makes what was his namelast week?

(25:10):
Oh, Hayes. Hayes look like JJ look like a
Sasquatch. A Sasquatch compared to this.
Guy sounds. Weird, like a weird pole there.
I'm just saying this is a This cop's too hot.
Trumblay's a real Ugo compared to this cop.
That's all I'm saying. Wow.
You would agree with that? I mean, I would agree that,

(25:32):
yeah, on the scale of hot cop, this cop wins for sure.
Yeah. There's A10 hot cop 10 out of 10
hot cop. 10 out of 10. Hot cop Yeah.
And so she Carly, like, sees thecar and then sees his like
jacket hanging from a tree. And it's like, that's Boyd's
jacket. And then she said she's going.
To run through the woods, Stuartplaying Carly.

(25:52):
'S that's Boyd's jacket. Yeah, that's Boyd's jacket.
Hi there. You make beautiful jacket.
That's a 9:50 hot cops. And so she runs through the
woods and finds Boyd. Boyd is not dead.
Boyd is just ready and tied up to this tree and he's like, it's
bad, it's real bad. You know one of those numbers.

(26:15):
OK. Yeah, he's like, you better run.
And she's like, what? What did you say?
And she's like really close to him, like a Rose and Jack like
moment, the steams coming out their mouths.
And of course the teddy bear trucker slasher is behind her.
And he's like, oh, don't you Remember Me?

(26:37):
You, you tried to rob me and I was a nice guy trying to pick
you up, picking up a stranger, ahitchhiker, and I'm getting
revenge. You guys are so dead.
Yeah, this is all. This is all revenge.
It's all revenge, which is surprising to me.
I didn't. I didn't see the.
I thought he was just gonna be bad guy.
And I thought bad guy was the end of it.

(26:57):
Yeah, but it's a revenge job forrevenge job.
It's a revenge job. Rob job.
Different than a Rob job. Different Hob job.
Rob. Hob Nob Hob Nob Hob nob.
Rob job. Hob Nob Rob It's.
Yeah, And Carly's like, I don't remember you.
You're a loser. And she pulls out the gun.
She took the gun from the the glove box.
And she says this is for Boyd. And she like shoots off the gun,

(27:20):
but the gun is empty. It has no.
Bullets. It has no bullets, it just
clicks. Just for show.
Wow, just. Clicks.
Because Helen is a smart mother. She keeps the bullets separate.
Does. Yeah, well.
This is you got to be. Safe about it.
She rushes up. She rushes up Helen's like what
are you doing Carly, give me that gun.
She puts the bullets in the gun. She's like all right, all right,

(27:40):
I'm serious now, trucker man, you don't move.
I I loaded the gun. Now Carly, you go get officer
sexy and we'll get this all figured out.
This is like the cops are right there.
It's all going to be good. And then the the teddy bear
trucker is like. I don't have to stay here.

(28:01):
Well, he, he, he talks to Helen and he's like, you picked up a
stranger. You know what it's like.
This girl is bad and she ruined my life.
And if you, you know, if I can'tget her, I'm going to come after
you and your daughter. And then run and then runs off
boy before hot a cop can show up.

(28:23):
And so that's that's tough, that's bad, that's tough, that's
tough. If I can't, if I if Carla, if I
can't get Carly, I'm going to get you.
You never want to hear that. Nope.
And she's like, I know that he'stelling the truth because I had
no truckers. My ex-husband wasn't.
I don't know if you know this. And I know if, when if when he
says this, he means it. Boy howdy.
She knows she knows officer officer Sexy is like look guys,

(28:45):
that was really intense. But I have to go deal with like
a a pile up on like I-95. I got to go, so you guys just
like be careful and there's a diner down the street you could
pile up. On 95, Yeah.
And I I am aware that you are inimmediate danger, Yes.
But if you go, there's a diner and old, old Harry down there.

(29:10):
He's goodwill. He'll protect you.
He's probably in good. Health No 95 is not going to
pile up itself. You know that's right.
Right. Yeah, he's got things to do so.
He is, and everybody lives happily ever after, right He.
Leaves them well they have that should be the end.
But no, they go to the diner, the Carly and Helen and Lauren

(29:30):
all or they all like explain what's going on.
So we get the they eat Mulligan's Stew.
I wrote that down because that was weird.
What? Shout out to one of the first
Just Crown for Christmas, Mulligan's.
Stew. There you go.
So Mulligan's Stew is making a holiday lifetime appearance.
You know, five years late, six years later.

(29:50):
Yeah. Always on on trying lifetime.
And Carly's like, OK, I was robbing you and it was bad, and
I'm sorry. My bad.
My, my bad. My bad.
This diner also notably has no Ssignal and no landlines.
It's wow. Yeah, but he's in a diner.

(30:11):
He's going to take good, take good care of you.
Yeah, of course he is old. Good old boy.
He's a good guy. He's going to take care.
He just happens to have a bedroom in the back of his diner
where they can stay overnight. That's right.
And that's nice. Interesting.
Yeah, so they bear keep themselves there's.
No phone line, no cell. Phone.
Service. But this diner guy who's a good

(30:33):
guy has a bedroom in the back ofhis diner.
Yep, not where they go. Yeah, and it's in this room that
she finally comes clean about the pregnancy, and they have a
heart to heart, and that's nice.Yeah, Helen is not perturbed or
upset. She's like, oh.

(30:53):
Great. Yeah.
She's like, listen, I've made a mistake.
So look at your your dad. I he was a trucker and he's a
deadbeat. He's a deadbeat, A deadbeat
trucker dad. So I know truckers.
You know Trey, she knows. And it's no big deal.
We'll we'll figure this out together.
And they all are like, let's it's night, night time.
But Carly isn't ready to let this go.

(31:17):
She's like, we have to, I have to take care of this trucker or
else the trucker's going to takecare of us.
And so she sneaks out while while they were sleeping, Sandra
Bullock style and decides that you know what?
I'm going to go track this guy down.
And luckily for her, he's right outside.

(31:38):
The truck's there. The truck is at the diner.
The truck is parked right outside, so she goes up to it.
She, like, knocks on the door. She says I'm going to shoot you.
And this is when we get like, a Jason Voorhees Myers type of
like, fight where, you know, they're, like being flown

(31:59):
around, like they're fighting. It's just very intense.
And Lauren come, Lauren comes in, too.
Or Laura, she comes. She's like throwing snowballs at
him. It.
It is. Yeah.
And it is a fight scene. Yeah, and the trucker is like,
oh, dope. And he's so he takes Laura like

(32:20):
she's there and like, I'm going to just I'll take.
I'm a natural killer. I'm a.
Natural Killer, I said that I would take you.
I'm gonna take you teddy bear, yeah.
Right. And and he kills Carly.
He stabs her to death. Deuces.
So she dead. Man.
This is really somehow Helen sleeps through the whole thing.
Yeah, you know you're tired. Well.

(32:40):
She knows truckers nothing to worry about.
Right, driving does make you sleepy.
It does make you sleepy. Hey, you ever fallen asleep?
While driving, Yeah. Surprisingly no.
I can't. Driving does not make me sleepy.
Once I'm to the destination, allthe tired hits me at once.
But I have driven, as Bran can attest, 17 straight hours not

(33:02):
tired soon as I get in the hotelroom exhausted.
But I can't I it doesn't make metired until I'm done with it.
So. You're focused.
Focused. I'm locked in but Helen
immediately knows that her daughter's from trucking and so
she is going to track down the teddy bear killer and if if it's

(33:23):
the last thing that she does andit once again it is not.
It's not very hard. Follows now and finds out where
he lives. Exactly.
He lives in a house full of teddy bears, as you would
expect. Apparently they belong to his
dead daughter. Yeah, they don't.
It. I was like thinking that Carly

(33:43):
and Boyd were going to be responsible in some way.
But I think like the best that Ican figure and maybe they
explained it better, but he got,you know, conned Rob Drop
happens. Rob Drop happens.
Like basically his wife was like, you suck like.

(34:05):
And like. Left him, right.
Left him. Yeah.
I don't think the daughter's dead.
I think they just left because and so that's why he's so like
mad, 'cause it's like you ruinedmy life.
You made you made me look like afailure in front of my wife and
daughter. Right, Yeah, OK 'cause, you
know, he, there's some like, axeon a door, like he's like

(34:27):
screaming about stuff. But I had like, was not
following what he was saying, 'cause he was, you know, axing
through a door. Yeah, yeah.
And it's drowning yeah, but I think that makes sense like he
like the wife left him that OK so there we go Helen is like
trying to get out of the house cuz she realizes she's in danger

(34:49):
cuz he has an axe now she gets her daughter they run out to the
the truck and she hotwires it because.
How do you know how to do that? He.
Knows that and I don't know if you know.
Yeah, but her ex-husband used todrive trucks.
Right. And he?
Taught her nervous on airplanes. She, her ex-husband, taught her

(35:11):
everything he knows. Taught her how to hot, hot wire
a truck. Yeah.
You know how truck drivers go home to their significant others
and be like, I know I had a longday and you do something
completely different, but let metell you how to drive a truck
and all the things in. It and hot wire it if you need
to. All right, Yeah, cool man.
And she does mention like my husband taught me how to do this
course. You do so she.
Literally says, you know, it's not just us.

(35:32):
Like saying like her about her husband.
She brings it up a lot. Yeah.
For somebody, she's like, reallynot, not feeling the teddy bear
trucker. He pulls them out of the the
truck. Yeah.
Before and he says. Yeah, he's like, this is your
last stop. Yeah.
And then he did. He did he put on his sunglasses
like Horatio Kane. Yeah.

(35:52):
It's fantastic. And then and then he's like, but
first I need to know how did youknow how to hot wire that truck?
Well, I've got some news for you.
And they get in a hole like, andshe's like, we wouldn't believe
it. And then.
But then the fight continues. Yeah.
Of course. Yeah, so they they wake up,
they're tied to, they're tied upin a garage.
This time he's chopping wood andmumbling to himself, and his

(36:13):
plan is to burn the entire housedown with them in it.
Yes. Fair.
And so you might be wondering, as I was, how they gonna get out
of this one and got to be honest, so easy.
Really. Yeah.
So they like, get united somehow, and then she just

(36:33):
attacks them with a tire iron hard.
And just because. A lot of time like he.
Didn't even have to feel the flames on them.
They were just, they just got up.
Good, good to go. Yeah, no problem.
Like and they didn't like it wasnot a it's not a fight.
She just hits him in the head and that's that's ball game.
That's it, that's ball game. So she did.
That's a lot of build up for just a bonk on the head.

(36:54):
But she knew how to do that because.
She, she bonks them so many times that the daughter is like,
mom, I think he's dead. You've got.
You're good. Yeah, Like we're good.
Yeah. Now they are all bloody and
snowy and whatever. And they're walking through the
cold trying to hitch hike. It's a full circle moment.

(37:14):
That's right. And a Good Samaritan picks them
up. That's right.
And that's the end of the movie. That is.
Wow, what a book. In from lifetime boom.
Boom, boom. So let's take a break.
We'll come back. We'll share our thoughts on this
one here on back the Hallmark. Hiya.

(37:38):
Welcome back everybody. We're talking.
Let's talk with the boys. We're talking Ice Rd.
Killer. That's right.
Today, let's share our thoughts on it.
Patrick, how do we do that here?OK, so Dan hasn't seen the movie
so we will decide if you will pour it up or put a cork in it
based on our description and your imagination.
OK, So what are you gonna do to this movie?

(37:59):
I'm. Pouring it up guys, can I tell
you this? This doesn't sound like high
art, but it does sound like filmmaking to bookends.
The Hitch hiking scenes, the beginning of this movie.
Great. An actual like slasher, you
know, with like a hood and like a calling card of a teddy bear.

(38:19):
It does sound very stupid and very convenient at times, but it
sounds like it leans into its premise and they made a movie,
not just a collection of scenes.Porn it up.
Porn it up. Man, yeah, great it.
Was. OK, I got to be be honest, it

(38:39):
sounds more exciting than it is.OK, I hate that.
Yeah, to me, it was a bit of a snoozer.
And the ending, like Herod, justlike bonk on the head, like, it
was as anticlimactic disappointing as it sounds.
And so I think I'm gonna put a cork in.

(39:00):
OK. Even though even though, even
though snow looked good, they definitely filmed it.
I think during winter time like it, it definitely looked very
cold but just not. Forgiving on these movies than
you are. Yeah, it's easy to do when you
haven't seen them. And so, yeah, I, I'm gonna, I'm
gonna put a cork in this one, I think.
So, yeah, so we're split down the middle a couple things, so.

(39:25):
A breaking vote from Patrick Serrano, Lifetime movie expert.
First of all, and the license expert.
Yeah. We do.
And the license, yes, we we do have snow in this one, which is
good. We like the snow, we like the
winter. It's very wintery.
The trucker being poor, I don't believe that truckers make good

(39:45):
money. They make good money.
They get paid very well. You should watch the John Oliver
expose on truckers. Some of them make good money,
some of them are getting really ripped off by the company.
FL Fun fun fact. OK, well, you know, all those
truckers out there, you got to work for the right company.

(40:06):
Yeah, you got to. There's a lot of decisions you
have to make and it make they make it kind of tough on you.
You got to want it. You got to want the truck
driving. Yeah, and you have to drive a
truck, which sounds really hard.It does sound really not great.
So, you know, there was a lot oftruck trucker hating on this
from for the husband. So I didn't like that and we did

(40:27):
meander a lot with the pregnancy.
The pregnancy thing storyline was like so drawn out for no
reason. So yeah, I didn't really like
that and and we didn't get any closure.
Like she didn't. I wanted her to like have the
baby like in the truck or something, you know what I mean?
Like. She wasn't that pregnant.
I know, but I'm saying it would have been better.

(40:49):
Describing this movie to me and it wasn't nearly as good as the
description. Yeah, so I mean, I would put a
cork in it too. I.
Think, I think Dan's imaginationversion of like a slasher, like
80s. That's scary.
Yeah, that'll be really. Cool.
The teddy bear in the news. The this is your last stop and
then they end with them hitchhiking.

(41:11):
It sounds great. Guys, I actually thought that
like as the ice of an idea as bookending it was, I was like,
wait, what? That's it?
Like it just it just ended so suddenly.
Glad I didn't watch. Let my imagination run wild
here. That's right.
Yeah, that's that's the best thing about your.
Imagination. There you go, we did it and the

(41:33):
Christmas in July lifetime is officially over.
What a. Time.
What a time. But it was a lot of fun and
Patrick, I can't wait to see what what happens in August over
on Lifetime. Oh my gosh, did you guys see the
movie with Chrissy Metz? I don't know any of.
I don't know what you said. No, I don't know.
Chrissy Metz from That Mandy Moore Show Where?

(41:55):
Yeah, that's going to narrow it down for me for sure, Patrick.
Life. Life is rough.
This Is Us. This is.
Us. This is that.
This is rough. Is what it says Chrissy Metz is
in a Lifetime movie and it's, you know, she's the in the
wildfires, the California wild. Oh my God.
Oh wow, they made us California wild already.
Well, she gets through it with Jesus, so it's going to be

(42:18):
great. Oh, I heard about this.
They're doing Jesus movies over on Lifetime in August, right?
Well, Christine, Matt's left in the flames.
The Nicole Jolly story is what we're.
Looking at and I'm like Nicole Jolly, we need to get a better
name than that. Nicole Jolly.
We don't call plus sized people jolly.
That's that's rude. That is rude.

(42:44):
It's rude. I mean you guys.
