(00:01):
Hi, I'm Brandon. I love Lifetime Christmas
movies. I'm Patrick Serrano and I'm a
Lifetime movie expert. I'm Dan and I despise lifetime
Christmas movies and this is thedeck.
The Hallmark Podcast Deck the Hallmark.
It's this podcast. We hope you like this Dolly

(00:22):
podcast. Hello everybody, it's the time.
To be alive. Finally, almost here a lifetime
Christmas movies. Another preview episode.

(00:44):
I have a question about about the theme song.
I've I've always wondered this if Brandon, is it Brandon and
friends or brand Dan? Do you This is one of the more
insulting things you've ever asked.
Do you think this show is Brandon and and?
Then my friends. That's what I that's what I

(01:06):
thought it was, and I was a woman and.
I appreciate that 'cause I I'm. The one singing that line.
Really. It's Bran, Dan and friends.
OK, well, 'cause I was like Brandon, I'm like, I'm like, why
did they leave Dan out? That's yeah.
Thank you for advocating for me years later.
Right. I listen to it every time and

(01:28):
that always goes through my mind.
I can't be the only one. I can't be the only one.
Pop off in the chat. Pop off in the.
Chat pop off in the. Chat somebody save me.
Pop off in the chat. You know, as as an artist, I'm
never one to try to tell somebody what a song is about or
even what the lyrics are. So however you hear it or you
take it, that's what it is. Lisa in the chat and Summer in

(01:49):
the chat are both with you. Patrick.
And this is the narcissist. We have to deal with Brandon
around and he comes in, he's like, it's gonna be my name and
friend. That's right.
You, you put up a fight and I said fine, we'll do Brandon.
But here's The thing is people miss here.
If it was Dan Brand and friends,it would still rhyme the same
and no one would get confused. So really my name should go

(02:11):
first. It can't.
It's a system on eben situation from we couldn't.
I feel like my I feel like we should rerecord it with my name
first. It's been a couple years.
That's true. We probably should.
What's? Done is done.
What's done is done. Yeah.
It's Brandon. Welcome to the Brandon and
Friends show. It's great to be here today.
He says. I'm still going to take it as
Brandon. And Prince, today my friends are

(02:32):
are Dan and Patrick. They are both here today.
Aaron's also here. Aaron, hello.
Happy day to you. Are you saying I'm not one of
your friends? I am.
No, you are. That's why I write.
My friends today are Dan and Patrick.
Aaron is also here and. Then Aaron's also here.
I could see how you how we got there.
Yes, thank you my friends. Today I bought you specifically

(02:53):
gold sprinkles to eat. Yeah, that's true.
And I just thought we were friends.
Jam. You're yes, I am joined today by
Dan Patrick on camera and then also Aaron.
Aaron, my friend, did you? Are you still choosing the Magic
Championship over me? As a human being.

(03:13):
No, I, you know, you were, you were out of the room.
I, I he really changed. I recanted.
I recanted. It took it took he got it took
him as long as I thought it would take him to to actually, I
knew I knew exactly what would happen.
The initial response was exactlywhat I thought would be.
And then he would sit on it for a while because brain is very
thoughtful. He would go.
You know what? My sports teams are actually

(03:35):
just my sports teams and there are people who are real people.
And he would come around. I knew he would.
Thanks guys, I knew he would. Thanks for believing in me.
I'm proud to be a Brandon friend.
Thank you. Thank you I.
Mean, initially his answer was still like, yeah, just sell you
down the river for a Magic championship, but.
No, I get that. But you got there.
Yeah. You, you know how much magic
stuff I own? Like you understand.

(03:56):
You don't get it though. You.
Understand. They explain to her the magic
work a little. Bit more this they don't.
That's the problem. They don't work, that's the
problem. Anyway, it's great to be here
with my friends today and we're previewing some Lifetime
Christmas movies. Patrick the crop, it finally got

(04:17):
announced. There's. 12:11 If you take out
ones that aired last year on Roku, because apparently that's
happening. Maybe, maybe that, maybe less
than 11. We'll.
Get to. It 11 man boy, should we even do
this? Should we preview these or or
what? Well, we'll.
We'll preview the ones that we'll, we'll tell you about them

(04:38):
all, but we'll, we'll preview the ones that are actually from
this year. You want to tell everybody about
this sneaky move that you tried to play, but then we actually
couldn't do it. So yes, you know I'm the king of
clips. That's what everyone calls me,
Patrick. I went through YouTube last
night. I was getting all my clips
ready. I got all the preview clips,

(05:00):
trailers, cut them down to like a minute each because so we
didn't have to listen to the whole movie in the trailer.
I hate trailers, by the way. You hate trailers?
Yeah, I think they're dumb and you don't need to watch them.
I'd rather just go in and watch a movie.
When it comes to like TV Christmas movies, I'm with you.
I don't want to see a trailer for them at all.

(05:20):
Yeah, but it it would help you get the vibe.
I thought it would help get the vibe for for this but and I
wouldn't have to read because you know.
I think it's the bigger one, yeah.
You didn't want to have to read.Them.
But we've all pitched in. We're all going to read.
Some. We're all going to take turns
and read, except for Leah. Michelle, Yeah.
OK. Who can read?
Who can read? Come on in.

(05:43):
We, we invited, we invited Leah,Michelle.
Yeah, that's because. She's not here, so do the math.
Yeah, yeah. Do you want to read on our
podcast? Let's leave.
Her some grace. Let's leave her some grace.
Can I ask this brand? I just want to.
I just want it on the record. This is this is the last preview
episode before Christmas. It is the last preview show

(06:07):
before Christmas, yeah. OK.
Just making sure. Unless we do a January preview
show on Christmas Eve, I think that.
Maybe. We could.
We could do that. And you guys, you know what
Vanessa Williams says? You say the best for that.
That's right, of course. Yes, everyone.
It's we. It's all been being built up to

(06:28):
this moment, the Lifetime Christmas movie preview episode.
We're doing it, you guys. We we do not.
Let me let me give you some names to get you excited.
OK, Come on. Of course.
We of course we have Miss VivicaA fox.
She's there. Tia's there.
We know Tia. Yeah.
We know. Tia Mowry howls.
Yeah, she's just Mowry now. She's.

(06:50):
Just mowers. That's right.
We love it. Just a reminder, there's also
Maria Menudos. Maria Menudos, we love her.
She's filling in for Mario Lopezon the the Latin train.
There you go. And we got, you know, Marcus
Rosser. Marcus Rosser.
Marcus Rosser. Britt Bristow Friend of the show
Britt Bristow. Just say I am disappointed a bit

(07:16):
that there's no Melissa Joan Hart Christmas movie this year.
I feel like in in our years of doing this together.
I feel like she's never made a good one.
No. So there's me, there's.
My take, I mean, I think fair. I think that's probably fair.
A1 where she fell in the nut in love with The Nutcracker.
That was a good one, I. I didn't see that.

(07:37):
One the one the most, the most I've.
Seen like 3 or 4 and they've allbeen terrible.
The most memorable 1 is well, I would say for me the most
memorable 1 is the one that she did with Mario Lopez were their
rival toy makers and they have to go to that.
They did a slight competition that the toboggan.
That's terrible. There's not a more memorable

(07:57):
scene than that. Scene is hilarious for sure
since we we know that there's one movie we've already like
reviewed on this show in this list.
Are there other movies that are not new this year?
Right. There's a, there's a couple
acquisitions from Canada. They'll be very obvious and

(08:17):
apparent as we go through them. Yeah, so lifetime's really
funded in this year. I would be, I wouldn't be
surprised if next year they scrap the whole thing and just
say we're done with Christmas. You know they're over it.
Yeah, they just couldn't compete.
I I. Think that they, I mean, I know
we've talked about this, this isprobably rehashing it, but I
just think they'd be better off doing Christmas themed drama.

(08:44):
Murder. Stuff murder that they do all
year. Like I think that that makes
more sense. Like the The Wonder, the movie
we watched, was it Wonderful Night or something like that?
It's a wonderful. Night at the at the end of last
holiday season was was my favorite of the season because
it felt like a Lifetime movie that takes place at Christmas.
I would rather that than than. This tribe was a blast.
Did you watch it? I watched.

(09:05):
The movie we were we did an episode with Alonzo for.
It's a wonderful. Night.
OK, that's not that one. There was another one that we
did. It was lifetime.
I don't know, it was similar. It wasn't.
It was like silent silent. It was something.
It was a lifetime. Plenty out there.
Yeah, whatever it was. Rudolph the Red Nose Knife.
Yeah, the red knife. Red Knife.
That actually works. That's interesting.

(09:27):
Yeah. Write that down.
It's. A cartoon.
Yeah, but anyway, should we? I'm just what I'm trying to ask
is how many creams? Oh, we're at 11 movies including
the acquisitions. You guys, we don't do creams.
This is life. That's true.
We just pour it up and put a pork in it.
That's all we do. That's right.
That's. Right, this is easy.
We'll be done before you know. It.

(09:48):
Yeah, yeah. It's.
Simple. You're either into it or you're
not into. It great.
I know the. Creams need not apply.
I know the common understanding is that this is my show, but
this is Lifetime. I'm going to let you take it
away and read the the first one,the Christmas set, Plum Hill
Manor. Yes, OK, so our first movie is

(10:08):
coming November 16th, way late in the season.
Thanksgiving. Yeah, right.
We're like we're we've seen like40 movies by now.
Christmas at Plum Hill Manor. I kept saying premberly Manor
for some reason. That's right.
And it stars Maria Menudos and Kyle Pryor.
Margaret Stone is beautiful. Margaret Stone is beautiful in

(10:36):
sentence. Period.
Full stop. Yes, a rising architect in New
York, she discovers a magical secret in an English countryside
manner she unexpectedly inherits.
Experiencing Christmas across the pond may make Mark Marco a

(10:57):
fish out of water, but an unforeseen romance and sense of
belonging give her a breathtaking new blueprint for
love. I love it.
Can I ask you a quick question? So she discovers a magical
Christmas secret in a English countryside manner that she
inherits. That's right.
Is the manner the secret like she didn't know about it?

(11:21):
And then she gets it, and that'sthe secret.
I think that she unexpectedly inherits the manner and there's
a secret in it. OK, that's my.
Question. Yes that that's what the trailer
showed me. OK after some some really bad
English accents there's a littlechest and she opens it and she
says this is must to be the secret.
She doesn't do an accent. And that is a great Maria

(11:43):
Menounos impression like. Maria does an accent.
Maria does try to talk like a British person like me.
She does it very badly. Yeah, it's a joke.
It's a joke. She's very funny.
It's a joke. You know.
She's not. She's not just in your in your
gas station kiosk. She's also a comedian.
She's all things to all people. Do we know Kyle Pryor?

(12:05):
Does he have any prior Lifetime films that we need to know
about? Do.
You have any pryors? He is Richard Pryor's great
grandson. Up and coming Neppo baby.
We love him. That's.
True. That's true, yeah.
We love, we love him. We love a neppo baby.
Yep, Yep. And and this guy did a movie

(12:29):
with Brian Herzinger is the director.
He did a movie with Maria Menudos two years ago.
That was kind of cute, putting that.
Out. OK, All right.
So all we're doing is we just got to pour it up, put a cork.
In That's all we got to do and explain why I love it.
Yeah, I mean, I want to go first.
I'm going to put a cork in it, like unknowingly inheriting a

(12:51):
manner. I'm usually out, so there's
that. Maria Menounos is the pre show
entertainment at the movie theaters that's real for Regal
Cinemas. I can't get in my head that
she's going to be acting in a movie and not going.
Just looking at the screen and addressing the crowd.
None of this sounds like my deal.

(13:12):
Put a court ride on him, that bad boy.
I'm intrigued by it for the reason why you said I don't.
I've never seen her act before. I've seen her host, I've seen
her tell us about other people that act, but I've never seen
her act. And so I'm intrigued by it.
It sounds like nothing remarkable, but I'm OK with that

(13:35):
as long as it is, interestingly enough, interesting enough and
that the couple works. And so we'll see.
It's all going to lie on the shoulders of Menounos and Pryor.
So I'm live. Great law firm.
Look great Menounos, Menounos and law.
They do it live. It's an amazing thing they a lot
of people don't know, you know, you can go to see and you can
see podcast live and all that stuff.
You can see lawyers have startedto go on stage and just kind of

(13:57):
talk through different. It's a lot of personal
information. They redacted.
It's redacted, yes. So they're just reading stuff
with a, but a lot of stuff they.Don't change their names.
They oh, it's not redacted, it'sjust a name change.
It's a. Name change.
Wow, it was really cool. Really cool that you learn a
lot. I'm going to I'm going to pour
it up. I think that this could be
pouring it either a disaster or really good and I'm OK either

(14:19):
way personally. There, there you go.
And since I saw the trailer, I have an unfair advantage of I'm
going to pour it up because I think Maria Menudos is cute and
I like the the trope of inheriting a house abroad, going
finding yourself. That's a great, that's a great
little ditty. A great little.

(14:39):
Ditty about finding yourself. Aaron, you want to give your
thoughts, You're going to be doing some reading and you are a
friend. Do you want to pour it up or put
a cork in it? Yeah, I think I'm going to put a
cork in it. Fair.
OK, wow, that was harsh. That was harsh.
Yeah, I don't know. I think I just see a lot of
Maria at the gas station in the movie theater.

(15:00):
Yeah, yeah, I feel good about that.
It's tough. It's when you when you when you
know someone from a gas station,it's hard.
It's hard to make, to get to jump.
Yeah, it's hard to make the jump.
We know her from the. Theater primarily.
If you know her primarily from the gas station.
I didn't mind her when I just saw her at the theater, but when
I started seeing her also, everytime I would get gas.

(15:21):
It's just a lot of Maria in my life.
It's tough when you know. How do you solve a problem like
Maria? You don't watch her Lifetime
movie. That's right.
Well. And that's why Dan and I are
playing. We, Patrick, you and I are,
though, because we're going to be reviewing that movie.
It's going to be the first moviethat we review this season,
yeah. So why wouldn't we?
Why wouldn't we cover that? That's right, so many reasons.

(15:42):
We will watch it at a gas station, so put it on the little
screen. Popcorn it to somebody.
Pick somebody to read this one. I'm going to send it to brand to
read. OK, All right.
Happy, happy holiday and happy Hallows.
There's a lot of ages, holidays. And Happy Holiday and Happy
Hallows. Got it.
Why'd they do? Yeah.
Happy holidays. Sunday, November 17th It is

(16:05):
starring Tamara Almeida. I'll I'll meet a later and I'll.
Meet a number two large size. And Cody Ray Thompson, a fella
so great they named it three times.
Real estate developer Gracie. Her ambitious new project faces

(16:27):
an unexpected roadblock. She stumbles upon a quirky
detail from the past. OK.
She's like, I listen, I found out something from the past.
It is so quirky. How would I?
Describe it. Quirky.
It's a quirky detail. The charming Christmas tree farm
she had purchased once it's. She had purchased space once,

(16:54):
once raffled off. OK, OK, so the Christmas tree
farm. The Christmas tree farm.
I believe you did that for him, Aaron.
The Christmas tree is going to get there.
I'm. Just trying to help us along.
We've got. Oh, we're never going to get out
of here. Yeah.
That she purchased once raffled sit.
In. Silence once raffled off tiny 1
foot deeds two local. Families, It's a bad plant.

(17:18):
It's a bad. It's a quirky but she had she
purchased a a tree farm. Yes, because of a quirky detail,
a quirky detail. And the quirky detail might be
that she raffled off. They raffled off 1 foot plots of
that land once, once, one by one.
Yes, each deed holds a sentimental piece of the land to

(17:41):
salvage her vision. Is she going blood?
What is happening? She must team up with local
historian Jack, embarking on a heartfelt quest.
Historian to track down your local historian Yes, to track
down these heartfelt families I'm sorry to track down these
families and persuade them to part with their cherished slices

(18:04):
of the. Fall.
Oh my God, if anybody pours thisup we're going to have to have a
talk. This sounds terrible.
It sounds awful. There's a quirky detail.
She buys a farm, she raffles off1 foot plots of the land, and
then for some reason she needs to call her local friendly

(18:25):
neighborhood historian to help her get the land back.
I I would rather die. I don't want any part of this
movie. Can I ask a clarifying question
about this? Yes, but I don't know.
I mean, maybe for us to like Ponder 3 as friends, Yeah.
So she doesn't know who bought the land.

(18:49):
She is that why she tracks uses the.
The charming Christmas tree formshe has purchased.
Yes, but she's asking about the she doesn't.
Know who purchased? The one.
Bought the land and then when she bought it, she finds out
that. That's.
The quirky the the detail is they had already sold a foot of
this land off a foot at a time. If she needs a historian to

(19:09):
track these people down, then they're not fighting her on her
owning the tree farm. So why are we doing?
This it could have been an e-mail.
This movie could have been an e-mail.
It should be an e-mail. And this should be the last we
ever. Talked.
I'm just going to go first on this one.
There is a cork in there as well, yes.
Great. Put a cork in.
It I am pouring up if if you guys cover this one brand

(19:30):
describing it to. You.
We're not, but now we're kind of.
You don't want to cover? No, no.
Don't be intrigued by a bad synopsis, I think.
Patrick is is is the quirky detail that's that raffle
happened. Yeah, that they raffled off part
of the land. It's just that they say that
before they tell. Us about the land.
The way that the sentence is written is real bad.

(19:52):
OK, Yeah. Yeah.
So we're all putting a cork in. That's right.
Right. Yeah.
Don't. OK, let's.
Yes, let's move on. Let's move on.
Yes, yes we can. It's.
A quad we. Really want to talk about yes.
Aaron, can you read the next synopsis?
Yeah, Is that Christmas in the spotlight?
It is. Christmas in the spotlight,
Yeah. All right.
What a real good time. Yeah, we're having a real good

(20:13):
time with this one. We have Christmas in the
Spotlight Saturday, November 23rd at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard
Time. It stars Jessica Lord Lathe
Walshlegger. What's that lathe?
Walshlegger is how I would say. OK, great.
Jenny Mai and Haley Khalil. I.

(20:34):
Like that, all right, It followsBowen, who is a girl.
Yes, OK Bowen, who is Jessica, apopular musician and celebrity
who, despite always singing about love and relationships,
hasn't found Mr. Right yet. Her fame and busy recording
schedule make it nearly impossible to date, but when she

(20:57):
meets Drew, a Pro Football player, backstage at her show
with his niece, there's an undeniable spark between the two
of them. When Drew publicly declares he
has a crush on Bowen, they decide to give dating a shot,
much to the excitement of her manager, Mira.
With each passing day they spendtogether, their feelings grow
stronger. But can it last in the

(21:19):
limelight, especially when they both have such hectic schedules
with people questioning if theirfeelings for each other are real
or just for show? The pressure mounts from the
press, paparazzi, their fans andeven their family, including
Drew's sister-in-law, Nicole. The pair has until the end of
the holiday season to decide. Why?

(21:41):
Or let it go down in flames. And I would like to point out
let it go down in flames as a Taylor Swift lyric.
Cool, but what? Who put the timeline on their
relationship? What you don't know, they must.
Decide that Christmas Eve What? You don't know is that is
actually detail in real life, Taylor.
And Travis, they must have untilJanuary 1st.
Or our hand in time they have tobreak up.

(22:02):
Wow. A.
Now, I did do a little research on this one when I found that it
was happening. Lifetime has not confirmed that
this is a Yeah. In other words, they haven't
paid for the rights to this story.
But it's clear that this is a Taylor Swift, Travis Kelsey.
That's what the press is reporting.
It is. Yeah, absolutely.

(22:23):
And and it's it's being pitted against the holiday touchdown
the chiefs love story movie. Yeah, they're.
They're wise enough to not put it on the same night, so I'll
say that. Right, that's good, that's good.
But I, I feel like Taylor Swift fans are are kind of more
excited for the lifetime one. Am I wrong?
Well, I what I know about this is, is that nothing shows you

(22:47):
the difference between these twonetworks than Hallmark working
with the Chiefs and then writinga love story that's about a fan
that's not about anyone playing real football.
And then they bring all of theirA listers, They bring Tyler
Hines, they bring Julie Sherman Wolf, they bring Hunter King.
And then Lifetime going, we don't need permission.

(23:07):
Let's just make the whole movie The exact carbon copy of the
story without using any specifics and a a classic RIP
from the headlines, but not a crime, a Lifetime movie.
And that makes me chuckle. I'm pouring this up because I
know somewhere out there someone's going to get mad for

(23:27):
no reason about this movie, and that makes me irrationally
happy. And so I'm going to pour this
one up, not because I think it'sgoing to be good, but because I
think somehow it's going to makesomebody mad that has no
business being mad. And that makes me laugh.
That's what I got. Great.
Yeah, yeah, I'm pouring this oneup.
We are going to be covering thisone on the show.

(23:49):
And I think that there's so muchabout this that could go really
wrong. I'm excited.
I'm excited to see like what they do for the music, like how
close they get to a Taylor Swiftsong without actually having to
use a Taylor Swift song and stuff like that.
And I did see the trailer for this movie floating around,

(24:09):
which I normally don't see for alifetime movies to to Patrick's
point, right, there's buzz aboutthis movie and it looked like a
soap opera. It looked I, I I don't, I don't
know for sure, but I don't know if Lifetime made this movie in
house just seemed like a movie that someone made.
And Lifetime was like, yes, let's get this, let's do it.

(24:29):
And it just, it doesn't fit the style, the visual style that I'm
used to with Lifetime, much lessHallmark.
It's very, very soapy and very, like, dark.
And I don't know, it looked veryinteresting visually.
So I'm excited about this movie. It sounds ridiculous and I'm all
about ridiculous. So I'm pouring it up.

(24:50):
Patrick, what do you think? Yeah, I think that, you know,
the Taylor Swift of it all is very interesting.
And I, I'm surprised Lifetime pulled this out of nowhere.
And they both, like both Hallmark and Lifetime, decided
that this was a Christmas story. You know what I mean?
It's just no random, but okay, I, I, I guess that's great.

(25:14):
So I'm going to pour it up. There's a moment in the trailer
where the football guys like all, all, all like shirtless and
hunky and she's like, Oh, your football body is so hot.
And I was like, yes, okay, great.
We have a little a little horny in there so poured up for that.
Also, apparently Mama Kelsey's in this one too.
She's really crazy. She's making.
She's not. Actually, she's not.

(25:35):
Aaron did. Did you know about that?
You've seen the headline for this movie, right?
Yeah, I'm. I'm pouring this one up.
Yeah, for a similar reason to you, Bran.
I'm kind of excited because I don't think they can actually
play Taylor music, no way, or explicitly reference her.
So I'm. So great.
I'm looking forward to there being some Easter eggs, some
things that I can be like, oh, that was a Taylor Swift

(25:56):
reference. So I'm just excited that there's
will be something in this movie for me to pay attention to
besides what I'm assuming will be top ten acting.
Yeah. But yeah, so I'm excited for.
This Do you think at some point she says, look what you made me
do? Yeah.
Do you think at some point she says this is a love story, baby?
Just say yes. Just say yes.
I wonder what they can get away with.

(26:18):
I don't know, I wonder what? The line is because they're
going to find the line, yeah. That's the only reason I'm
excited. My biggest concern is lifetime
being like this. It's not this like we they
haven't really said because theycan't, but maybe they have.
That means that they also have to be even more conservative in
the way in which they connect the story.
If there's not a single Taylor Swift Easter egg in this movie,

(26:39):
I will burn it. Down the IT it happened like in
the in the synopsis I feel like yeah, which which good eagle eye
good eagle eye Hey, let's take aquick break.
We'll come back we'll get you some more of these.
How about that? Does that sound good to?
Everybody a great plan brand. We'll be right back here in deck
the Hallmark, Deck the. Hallmark deck the Hallmark.

(27:03):
Welcome back, everybody. It is the Lifetime Christmas
preview show. We're through a few movies.
We got some more to go. Do I get to read now?
Is it my turn? I guess so.
What's next, Patrick? It's your turn.
Yes man, Sincerely, truly. Christmas.
Sincerely, truly Christmas. I choose to believe that it's
truly Christmas as a person. Ah, truly, truly Christmas.

(27:25):
Sincerely, truly Christmas. It airs Sunday, November 24th at
8:00 PM on Lifetime. It stars.
Is that Pacific Time? It's Eastern Standard.
They don't say that here, but I'm 7.
Central didn't give that away. It's Paula Brancotti, Howard
Hoover and Jake Epstein. Our boy Jake Epstein.
They got the Hoover. The Hoof When event planner

(27:49):
Christina is fired just before Christmas, she makes a wish that
magically comes true. Armed with the ability to hear
what people want for Christmas, Christina learns that bringing
reclusive one hit wonder, Dan Copen, out of retirement could
help her get her job back. But to get to Dan, she'll need

(28:10):
to go through handsome realtor Robert, who needs help finding
the perfect Christmas gift for his son, The.
Freak happened. That's not.
None of those events are connected.
This is wild. Just so she she's an event
planner. Makes a wish.
More on that later. To hear what people want for

(28:33):
Christmas. She's fired just before
Christmas and makes a wish that magically comes true.
And now she can hear what peoplewant.
Somehow that's related to her learning that bringing back a
reclusive. One wonder, Dan Copen, you know.
Somebody must want that for Christmas, and so she hears
that. Maybe from her boss that fired
her, that could get her job back.

(28:53):
So yes. But then how's the handsome to
Robert? To Dan?
Still need to go through handsome realtor Robert.
Why? He's a realtor.
Why do you have to? Right, because he's handsome.
OK, he's handsome. Well, this guy's is an example
where the trailer would have been really helpful because the
trailer lays it out a lot betterthan the the.
OK, so give it to us, you know, give it to give it to us

(29:14):
straight here. So she walks in, she's talk
coming from work and she's walking into a meeting with her
boss. And her boss is like, she's
like, I heard you booked BritneySpears for the Christmas
advertising. We don't want to use Britney
Spears. She's so dumb.
And the boss is like, Britney Spears is on the line right now.
She. Heard everything situation.

(29:36):
You know, one of those. So she gets fired and then she's
like, well, I really wanted to do this.
This, you know, one hit wonder guy.
He would have been great for thead.
So maybe she's not an event planner.
And then she wishes that, you know, she could hear people what
people really want because she just doesn't know.
And then she starts to people start to just walk up to her and

(29:57):
be like, I want a Christmas talking.
I want, you know, scissors, whatever you might want.
Dude, how many years did you want scissors she wants?
To I mean, I had no choice. I had to tell her.
Yeah, so we don't really get themagic part.
I guess the leap that I could never make was she loses her job
and she goes home and she's like, man, I don't have a job

(30:21):
anymore. I wish I could hear what people
want for Christmas. Why, why, why did?
She. Wish that after losing her job.
Like of all the things to wish, I don't.
Know one more thing to to sway you one way or the other.
Paula and Jake Epstein were bothon Degrassi, not on the same

(30:44):
season. Degrassi.
They were both on that show, so if you're Canadian you you might
be into this. Or you're Alonzo Geraldi.
Yes, Yeah, yeah. So it's a Degrassi reunion of
sorts. OK.
Correct, correct. I'm torn on this.
I like the magical wish stuff, Ilike Jake Epstein.
I don't like everything else about it.

(31:07):
Because of how these movies typically go, I'm going to put a
cork in it. Oh, I'll put a cork in this one
just cause the the lack of the through line, it makes it to
where I'm left with more questions and I also know that
we're not doing this. One so I don't really want.
To worry about it, yeah. So I'm going to put a cork in

(31:28):
it. OK, great.
I'm also putting a cork in it because that description was
really confusing and the the onehit wonder part portion of it.
Think of that Bill Nye from LoveActually.
Like they kind of do like that type of thing.
So it's already like, you know? I like that.

(31:50):
I mean, I like the Bill Nye storyline in Love Actually.
It's the best storyline in Love Actually.
Right, but it but Bill Nye is not there.
Yeah, Bill Nye not being there is a big deal.
You know, so I'm like, OK, well,OK, great.
So moving. On.
Oh, hold on, Aaron. Aaron, do you want to?
I'm putting a cork in there, OK?Yeah, I'm just putting a cork.
The cork is already there. She put it in.

(32:11):
OK. For complete transparency, I
have to go back to work in 10 minutes.
Love it, we got this. Yeah, Oh, do we?
We got this. Do you just want to make a 2
preview episodes? Sure, we can do 2 'cause we're
yeah. And then we'll put it on next
Saturday and then we'll have something perfect.
And that's how we plan. Let's do, let's do, let's do two

(32:31):
more movies. You remember earlier when you
promised me that it was? Then I may have may have made a
mistake. Yeah.
I'm so sorry. No, no, I'm an hourly.
I'm an hourly employee now and Ionly get an hour lunch break and
I can't record in in my office 'cause I don't have an office at
the only theater. Totally.
All right. I'm still wearing my badge right
now. Wow.

(32:53):
Yeah, you are. Ran out of work and I was like I
gotta get to recording. Luckily it's right down the
street but still. Anyways.
Do you wanna hit? Do we go do two more or what do
you wanna do? Two more or one?
More How many have we done? We need two more.
I think two more would get us about halfway.
Two would get us halfway. We've done all right.
Go quick. I got it.

(33:13):
BB wins we 3 kings. Oh winans winans winans winans.
OK. BB wins.
It's stars BB Winans, Winans, Deborah Joy Winans who I know
from General Hospital, Lisa Berry, Faith Wright and Bethany

(33:34):
Brown. In Beebe Winans We 3 Kings,
Beebe plays Lincoln, a retired musician turned record store
owner and the proud father of three King sisters.
There it is. Lydia, Gracie and Abigail For
the first time since their mother's death, the three

(33:55):
estranged King sisters return home for the holidays.
Lincoln hatches a plan with family friend Janelle to maybe
to bring back his girls back together again for Christmas.
Living under the same roof and hearing their father sing joyful
Christmas melodies sparks old family memories.

(34:18):
Holiday love songs and mistletoeare found around every corner.
And the sisters? There's mistletoe.
Around every. Corner.
We can't just walk past the corner.
No. What the You kidding me?
Right, they find love. This is what I want to happen
this Christmas. Find love in the town they tried
so hard to leave behind. It isn't long before the sisters

(34:41):
face the facts. Life's better when they're
together. The more you know.
You gotta face the facts. Life's better when we're
together. Now face the facts.
BB this isn't BBS first go at lifetime right?
This has happened before I believe.
He did one with Ashanti I. Think yes, I think that's right.

(35:02):
And and it was, it was like better than it needed to be.
Like way better. All right, this time he's got
mistletoe around. Every corner, surprise
mistletoe. I'll pour it up.
I think that there's a high potential for some good music in
this movie, and so for that reason alone, give me some good

(35:22):
gospel Christmas music, give me BB.
Grew up listening to BB and CC winans for that reason.
Only a very tentative pouring. For CC, stop.
They're crushing it. Yeah, CC is not treasure.
CC Pisini Well. And I, I is that who it is?

(35:43):
You wouldn't get Cici Pizzini Patrick.
It's a mascot of a local pizza buffet.
I thought it was that girl that sings Could be.
No. Have you ever heard of CiCi's
Pizza? They have.
An 1800s David Copperfield stylemascot named CC Pansy.
And he's tiny. He wears a top hat, same CC.

(36:04):
He has like fingerless gloves. I don't know, but he can still
afford. Seasons.
Yeah, you would love. Them we have the same fashion.
Yeah. Yeah.
So I'm going to pour it up for this one.
I like the sister aspect. I like the finding love in your
hometown here. Fingers crossed.
Let's go. This year's my year.
Yeah. Aaron, what do you think?

(36:25):
Yeah, I'm also going to pour it up.
I'm I'm excited to see what theymeant with holiday.
Love songs and mistletoe are found around every.
Corner. And are those two things
related? Yeah, I'm just excited.
What do they mean by that? If there's not mistletoe,
mistletoe hasn't been. There's this beautiful card game
called Christmas Movie Magic that I've been playing.
Oh, oh, this one. Yeah, I've.

(36:46):
Heard of it? Mistletoe has been a tough one
this year as well, so I would bereally excited for there to
actually be mistletoe around every corner.
I could finally play that card, get those points.
That would be great. Yeah, that'd be great.
What if there's no mistletoe in this movie?
Right it it does seem like something.
Around every corner. That felt like thrown in by AI.

(37:08):
It got to be. Honest, it does not sound like a
human being wrote that. Yeah.
These descriptions are very. Yeah, it's a horror movie.
Is mistletoe around every corner?
Well, first there's songs. And mistletoe around every
corner. Don't ask, OK?
One more one. Here we go, brand.
Brand for the taking it home. That's right, Maker Bake

(37:31):
Christmas, December 1st, 8:00 PMis starring Vivica A Fox, Jack
Hay, Landon Moss, and Jasmine Avila.
Hold on, let me get in close to this one.
Avaliadis with With Christmas fast approaching, Leslie known

(37:59):
for her expertise in all things domestic and top lifestyle
brands. Is looking to is looking to
expand your resume here and it says that your expertise isn't
all things domestic and top, toplifestyle brands.

(38:20):
So yeah, I would say for me personally, again, do I mainly
expertise in the domestic sure, domestic things, yeah.
But also, what about the top lifestyle brands?
Yes, that too. Thank you so much for asking.
Is looking to expand her business.
She sets her sights on the bakery.
Sugar Baker. Sugar Baker, owned by Denise

(38:42):
Sugar Baker. That's crazy.
That's crazy. Last day.
There's no way. And run by her son David.
I assume David Sugar Baker. Determined to make a deal before
the end of the year 'cause I probably related somehow to
Taylor and Travis's same. Yeah.
Leslie sends one of her top employees, Emma, to go
undercover as a seasonal employee in order to convince

(39:04):
them to sell. Emma unexpectedly finds herself
falling in love with the quaint bakery with its Christmas
spirit, staff and especially David.
David Sugar Baker tis the seasonto make or bake Christmas and
discover everything sweet duringthe holidays, including love.
This sounds atrocious. It sounds so bad.

(39:28):
It's a bad synopsis for a bad movie and I'm fine with Vivica
Fox MY and Jack. Hey, I think both of those
ladies are really talented. I just don't want any part of
this movie. Put a cork in it.
We are doing this movie. Yes.
I'm pouring it up. I I I think that there's

(39:49):
something could be quite, quite lovely here.
Is it the top? The cast is the sugar Baker
family. It is the domestic, but also why
stop there? Let's go top lifestyle brands.
All of that is playing in here. I'm I'm going to pour it up.
I think it could be something. I think it could.
I think it could, Patrick. Miss Vivica A Fox left Lifetime

(40:12):
last Christmas and did somethingfor another streamer or
something. And I was very upset and I was
like, what are you doing? So I'm glad she's back on
Lifetime. I'm mad that she's not doing the
wrong Christmas something the wrong Christmas, anything.
The. Wrong Santa.
You could have done the wrong Santa Claus if it was like a
mall Santa situation. The wrong candy cane, the wrong

(40:34):
sled, The you know. The wrong sled.
My favorite The wrong sled. Yeah.
So with the wrong slip. I don't like Miss Vivica a fox
being domesticated and baking inthe kitchen and.
She's an expert in all things domestics.
Yeah, so. I don't like that.
She's not Martha Stewart. She's Miss Vivica Fox.

(40:56):
She tells people you chose the wrong something.
And that's what I need to see. You chose the wrong dreidel, OK.
Sounds like she may have picked the wrong movie, am I right?
So so yes, I'm putting a cork inthis and I'm excited to watch it
and it will be a hate watch. I'll be so mad.
Wow. All right, well, I hate watch.
Can't wait to talk about it withyou, Aaron.

(41:17):
What are you thinking? Yeah.
So we're reading these synopses on Lifetime on cork.com.
That's right. Yeah.
And as Patrick so nicely pointedout, that he doesn't want to see
Miss Vivica Fox domesticated. I want to see her taken down bad
guys in the wrong Christmas series.
And the fact that he put that into my mind that I could have
had, like, a Christmas thriller where, like, Vivica Boston at

(41:39):
the end is like, you chose the wrong bakery.
I'm putting a cork in it. Yeah.
It's good. It's wise, wise.
Well, that's it for this week. Good news is going to be back
next Saturday. We're going to do the rest of
these movies. I think that feels right. 12
would have been 2 full. It's already a 40 or already 40
minutes. They're my personal hill.
We're going to be back then withthat and I think we'll also be

(42:01):
back tomorrow, I believe with another another full week of
