Los Angeles Angels Fall Short vs. Mariners: Did Ron Washington Throw in the Towel? Halo Hitting Prep

Did Los Angeles Angels manager Ron Washington give away the game too soon? On today's Locked On Angels, the Super Halo Bros. recap the Angels' loss to the Seattle Mariners, after much discussion about their hitting approaches at the plate. Did they look better on Tuesday night? In some ways, they did, and in the same ways as the previous two weeks, the Halos looked awfully similar to what they've been doing. Despite a 3-1 deficit, Ron Washington gave the ball over to Jose Fermin in only his second Major League appearance to face the hot-hitting Jorge Polanco, which ultimately ended up costing the Angels the game. Bad call? Plus, Jeff Fletcher of the OC Register spoke with four Angels hitters about their pregame prep and getting ready to hit for the day.
