The Kansas City Chiefs have all-pro guard Trey Smith on the Franchise Tag and the deadline to get a long-term deal done is today. That means the Chiefs need to get something in place or it could create a domino effect that hurts the team's finances now and in the future. Smith obviously helps Patrick Mahomes, but Mahomes will need more than just Smith to get back the proverbial lead he had on the other quarterbacks in the NFL.
