Brad Marchand Delivers in Double OT to tie the series in a Game 2 Thriller in Edmonton!

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jackson Holzer(@JacksonH_52) to the show to break down the Panthers 5-4 2OT win over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. It was a high event first period where we saw seven penalties and five goals scored in the frame. Florida started to control play where they scored twice taking the lead into the third. Panthers were trying to play shutdown defense in the third period, but their lack of offensive zone time had the Oilers pushing, and after multiple draws lost, Edmonton was able to tie the game with 17 seconds left to force overtime. The Oilers were the ones in control of the first OT, where the Cats had more than one chance to end it, but the Panthers were the ones who controlled the second OT, giving up only one SOG, and then it was Brad Marchand who delivered for his second goal of the game eight minutes into the second OT to give the Panthers the win and to tie the series at one. The two discuss how they were able to get to Edmonton's top players as Connor McDavid played more minutes than any Oilers defenseman, and how it was the Panthers this time rolling the lines.
