In episode two of the LVF Podcast, I interview Dylin Leonard, an aspiring creative in the fashion industry (among other things).
For almost two hours straight, Dylin had the courage to give us a valuable perspective of growing up in Rexdale, a north-west district of Toronto (north of Etobicoke). As a youth, Dylin lived in an impoverished neighborhood in Rexdale with a significantly high crime rate. In other words: the hood.
We cover many topics in this episode, including: how fear was used against Dylin, homeless youth, drug use, discovering and defining love as a young black man.
