LVF S1E3: Catie Fenn - Lessons From a Spiritual Smackdown

In episode three of the LVF Podcast, I interview Catie Fenn. Catie is a retired lawyer, spiritual coach, and public figure. Catie’s spiritual coaching practice is based on redirecting people from the voice of fear in their minds and re-focusing them on the wisdom in their hearts. She also leads an ongoing workshop entitled Goddess Circle with the mission of working with women to re-ignite their inner power, through cultivating love.

 

During the interview, Catie spoke primarily how she developed the ability to listen to the voice in her heart to receive the wisdom she needed after she experienced a major breakdown – a spiritual smackdown in her words.

 

The smackdown came on February 1st, 2014. Catie had been living the Torontonian version of the American dream (law career on Bay Street, condo around the corner), but had also been running away from the truth that she wasn't happy and felt deeply disconnected from herself.

 

Listen as Catie and I speak on the ability to surrender, the ability to listen to one's heart, and how self-limitation comes from externally-instilled fear.
