I Lundströms Bokradio dyker vi ner i Kjell Höglunds musikverk som levt vidare genom decennier, med låtar som ”Jag hör hur dom ligger med varandra i våningen ovanför”, ”Genesarets sjö” och ”När tåget lämnar perrongen”. I höst har det kommit en bok, Kjell Höglund och hans värld, där författaren Anders Sundelin tecknar sin bild av låtmakaren.
I programmet hör vi sångerskan och musikern Ellen Sundberg, som tolkat Kjell Höglund på albumet ”Du sålde din biljett” och turnerat med hans låtar. Medverkar gör även Johan Johansson, punkveteran och producent, som ligger bakom albumet Det tredje årtusendet med Ellinor Brolin, med nya texter och tolkningar av Höglund. Han har även spelat länge ihop med Kjell Höglund och producerade hans sista album, Pandoras ask, från 2006.
Sångaren och låtskrivaren Kjell Höglund, som fyller 80 nästa år, föddes och växte upp i Östersund. Han bor idag på ett äldreboende och har slutat uppträda på scenen. Han debuterade med albumet Undran 1971 och har sammanlagt givit ut 14 studioalbum.
