Gideon Koekoek onderzoekt zwaartekrachtsgolven afkomstig van zwarte gaten aan het Nikhef en dan met name de detectie ervan. Detectie waarvan Einstein overigens honderd jaar geleden zei, dat deze vanwege die gigantisch kleine schaal, (0,00000000000000000000001, dat zijn twintig nullen na de komma) niet mogelijk was... in your face, Albert!
Maar hoe detecteer je zo'n zwaartekrachtsgolf dan eigenlijk? Waarom valt een basketbal even snel naar beneden als een pingpongbal? Is Limburgse kruisbessenvlaai de lekkerste? En waarom blijven we zwaartekrachtsgolven meten, als we ze al hebben gedetecteerd?
Verder behandelen we de rol van trouwe viervoeters bij het lezen van boeken en kijken we naar hoe het schrijven van Sinterklaasgedichten kan helpen bij het vullen van zwarte gaten.
