Inez Polak is oud-correspondent Israël voor Trouw en was al eens eerder te gast. Sinds de laatste keer dat Gijs en Polak elkaar spraken zijn in Gaza alleen de slechtste scenario’s uitgekomen vertelt ze. Daarom spreekt Gijs nu weer met haar. Ze hebben het over de tweedeling die er ook in Israël is over de oorlog, de kentering in Europa ten opzichte van Israël en haar persoonlijke relatie met het land.
