In this episode, we bring back a guest favourite, Lisa Hendrickson-Jack, to chat all things the pill. Lisa is a Certified Fertility Awareness Educator, Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner, and author of The Fifth Vital Sign: Master Your Cycles & Optimise Your Fertility (which I have on my bedside table as we speak).
It was great to get Lisa back to talk about the pill, how long it takes for women to fall pregnant and best practices for prenatal health. This chat is inspired by many clients I have been seeing recently, who have taken the pill for a long time and want to come off it to have a baby.
We talk about how to get your natural cycle back after taking the pill, what to expect when ceasing synthetic hormones and how natural medicine can help.
For more on Lisa, check out her fabulous website (book and podcast too) over at http://fertilityfriday.com/
And of course, check us out on our website mgherbs.com and Instagram @mgherbsofficial
Thanks as always for listening and please do share this episode with anyone you think might need to hear it

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
