Tracy Rodgers shares how she went from living in low-income housing to building a network marketing team of over 45,000 and generating more than $10 million in monthly sales.
Tracy shares her raw, transparent story filled with ups and downs, self-sabotage, breakthrough moments, and her return to the profession that changed her life forever. If you’ve ever felt stuck or doubted your path in network marketing, this episode will reignite your belief and drive.
Tracy’s journey began as a single mom of four living in a small town. She joined her first direct sales company because it was free to start. Though the products were unattractive and the tools were minimal, she jumped in with hope and energy.
She had early success due to her personality, but her unwillingness to get out of her comfort zone caused her teams to collapse. Repeated cycles of starting over led to frustration and burnout, eventually pushing her to leave the industry for a while.
In 2017, Tracy had a breakthrough when a new opportunity reignited her passion. She decided that she couldn’t do things the same way and expect different results. That led her to read You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero multiple times and dig deep into personal development.
She made a list of 120 names and committed to calling 10 people a day. Although 100 people told her “no,” the 20 people who said “yes” helped her build a massive organization.
One of the most impactful moments was when Tracy got harshly rejected on her ninth phone call during her outreach. It was so discouraging that she almost quit. But instead, she kept going—and that decision changed everything. Within months, her team exploded.
Tracy learned that success comes just beyond the point where most people give up. As Simon quoted: “The temptation to quit is greatest when success is right around the corner.”
Tracy believes consistency and intention are key to long-term success. Here’s her simple DMO:
Tracy openly shares how her faith transformed her business. She dedicates her business to God and wears her “Prayer is in My Business Plan” shirt as a daily reminder. Surrendering her goals and decisions to God helped her manage stress and find peace in the process.
She believes when you lead with integrity, intention, and faith, not only will you attract the right people to your business—but also to your spiritual walk.
If you’re starting from scratch, Tracy’s advice is clear:
“Your success is determined by the number of lives you impact.”
“Be the best version of YOU that God created you to be.”
“Successful people just do the basics better.”
Old-school still works. Tracy prefers to get prospects on the phone instead of just sending a link. This allows her to ask questions, understand their needs, and present a solution based on connection—not automation.
