Når Hollywood lanserer sine største og dyreste filmer, gjør de det med brask og bram – i alle fall pleier de å gjøre det. Da Disney nylig hadde premiere sin nyinnspilling av Snehvit, var imidlertid markedsføringen såpass forsiktig og halvhjertet at de fikk følelsen av at de angret på at de i det hele tatt hadde laget filmen.
Live action-versjonen av Snehvit og de syv dvergene fra 1937 har vært preget av problemer siden før innspillingen startet. Vi snakker om filmens kontroverser, filmens innhold og hva den sier om Disneys (og vårt eget) forhold til prinsesser.
