Bob Guiney, born on May 8, 1971, in Riverview, Michigan, is an American television personality and host who gained national recognition through his appearances on reality TV dating shows and has since built a diverse career in entertainment.

Guiney graduated from Riverview Community High School in 1989. He then attended Michigan State University, where he graduated in 1993.
During his time at MSU, he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and served as a walk-on quarterback for the university’s football team.

Before his television fame, Guiney was the lead singer of the Lansing, Michigan-based band Fat Amy. The band gained regional popularity in the late 1990s but disbanded in 2000. They later reunited as the Bob Guiney Band to record the album 3 Sides, released in 2003.
