Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now, Big Trevor, I'm not sure if you and I
are what you call it runners.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
We do like chocolate milk, yes, we do. So part
of this interview is going to suit us. The other
is quite foreign to us. We've got Ned Brockman on
the phone now, the cult running hero last year three
and fifty three k run from Coddslow Beach in Western
Australia to Sydney's Bondo Beach. I remember watching him come

(00:25):
over the finish line, just going Jesus.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah, I was puffed.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I was puffed just looking at him.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Ned.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I'm very well guys. Thanks having me on. How are
you going?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Very good? Thank you. Now you've had a lot of
call outs to come to the coast and you're going
to be here tomorrow at four am. What's happening? What's
going on?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah, I was in Brizzy today and I've got a
Gold Coast four am run to borrow. I've did a
drive across the country in my new milk van and
we got so much hype around it when we were
doing the travel across and a lot of the East
Coast said, come on come on over, come up, come
on up. To Brizzy and Goldie and yeah, so tomorrow
morning on the Goldie four am burly power get around it.

(01:03):
How far are you running? You both there?

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Oh yeah, you're saying there in that car? So from where?
From barely pavilion?

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Are you going? Which way? And how? I'd say We'll
just heading nor for five gay spin around and run
back to the ten k trot and then I'll be
handing out milk at the end and just getting around everyone,
just giving them some energy. We all need a bit
of energy.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
This milk.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yeah, for the milk, it's basically my little my little baby.
Now I am off the back of the run. We
were able to raise so much money for people experiencing
homelessness here in Australia, and it obviously takes its toll
doing such a massive, you know, feed on the body,
and I was like, how do I continue to raise
money in the in between and the milk? I had
a lot of choky milk out on the run. Every day.

(01:47):
I was burning close to twelve thousand calories, so I
was consuming choky milk to fulfill those calories. And I
was like, I don't do anything at hard, so I'm
going to make I'm going to make my own and
so that's kind of where we are, and every single
bottle will donate back to all these experiencing homelessnes. That's fantastic.
I love how it's called Ned's Milk Run. Yeah, that's brilliant.

(02:10):
So how many more runs are you going to do? So?
You did one in Brisbane this morning, one of the
gold castes. Where from after the gold Case?

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Where do you go?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
One in the Goldie? I head back to Sydney and
kind of get my life back together, and then I'll
just pick and they'll be you know, when I'm in
Woollongong and Camera. I'll know a few more in Sydney.
It's just kind of whenever I feel like it. I'm
always up that time anyway. But bringing people along the
journey and giving energy goodbyes and getting people to live
and get after it is what I'm all about. So

(02:38):
whenever they feel right, I'll be doing them.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
And there do you fly to each of those places
and then start running or do you just jog bare?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah a bit longer, Efor could run there, but yeah,
here we go.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Now, is your milk going to end up?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Like?

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Can we just buy it anywhere? Or how does that work.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Well, what's very exciting is that as of yesterday we
were announced in probably or of them, the woolworth Yeah
big b Apple thing. Oh yeah yeah yeah that one,
yeah yeah yeah. So they're are awesome. The legends there
have come on board and stopping our milk. So go go,
go go get it there, it's going to be it's

(03:16):
gonna be eppy. I think I think people have frostened
it a bit to get it. What's the milk called.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
It's Ned's milk.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Milk nice popping.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Sorry about Trevor, it takes him a little while.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Get went for.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
A run to get some milk and Ned, thank you something.
Congratulations on that. That is huge to be going through
all of Woolworths. That's absolutely brilliant. And what you said,
it's like your baby, So it's nice. This is like
it's going off to school kind of time turning eighty.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
That's exactly right now. I'm very grateful. It's an awesome
privilege to be in there, but also just to be
able to give back and be able to continue to
do good in the world.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah, it's great mate that you're doing it for a
worthy cause, because there's a lot of homelessness around.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
That's great mate.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
All Right, Well tomorrow more for a M Burley pavilion
b there and not only do you get to kange
hang out with the legend that is near Brockman, he
will give you a chocky milk as well.
