Esta crisis de salud ha traído enormes repercusiones en todos los ámbitos. De igual forma el impacto en el aumento de la delincuencia es importante. Desde el punto de vista de la Psicología Criminal aplican varias teorías para explicar cuáles serían los delitos o los actos de violencia que tendrán un aumento significativo; aunado a las medidas que se han adoptado por el gobierno como lo es el confinamiento social (Quédate en casa). Desafortunadamente hay un sector de la sociedad que al adoptar estas medidas están expuestos a vivir situaciones de violencia familiar y delincuencia digital conocida como ciberdelincuencia, entre otro tipo de delitos.
