Dr Leah Giarratano has been a clinical psychologist for many years. Her first three novels focus on the character Jill Jackson. The first is Vodka Doesn’t Freeze, the second Voodoo Doll. We spoke to her after she released the third in the series Black Ice. She has since released a young adult fantasy series called Disharmony. In this interview, we discuss how her crime writing has been influenced by her work in hospitals, the defence force and the corrections system, working with both offenders and victims.
