Murder and Mysteries with Massnick

In this episode we look at who Gerard Schafer was and what you can expect this season from Murders and Mysteries with Massnick.

In this weeks episode, we begin the time period that would mark the downfall of Gerard the Law Enforcement Officer and put him on everyone's radar.  We search for the truth about Gerard's Spanish Fort on Hutchinson Island and we discuss the harrowing escape of two of his victims.

This week we discuss Dr. Massnick's trip to Blind Creek, the site of the gruesome murders of Susan Place & Georgia Jessup. Also, we have a special guest in from the medical examiners office. 

In a special bonus episode, Dr. Massnick and special guest retired Corrections Officer Larry Peoples Sr. discuss Ted Bundy's time in prison and his last day. 

This week we had the honor of meeting with Nicole, a relative of the late Carmen Hallock. Though never formally charged, it is believed that Schaefer was responsible for her disappearance. In April of 1973, items belonging to Carmen were found in Schaefer's mother's home, where he had personal items stored in a spare bedroom. 

This week we continue our conversation about Carmen Marie Hallock with our special guest. 

This week we discuss the murders of Collette Goodenough and Barbara Ann Wilcox at the Devil tree. With our guest Dr. Brenda Rante we also go over the interesting people we met on our journey to the tree.

This week we have special guest retired Corrections Officer Larry Peoples Sr. in to discuss Gerard's time in jail. Larry provides us insight into Gerard's day to day life and his final day.

This week we discuss Bobby Joe Long's beginnings as the Classified Ad Rapist. We also talk about his first two victims (Artiss Ann Wick & Ngeun Thi Long) as he transitions into becoming the serial killer we all know. 

 This week we remember Michelle Simms, Elizabeth Loudenback, and Vicky Elliot. We also address bobby's communication during the countdown to his execution. 

This week we continue our journey on the Road to CrimeCon. We begin our episode discussing the events this week surrounding Bobby Joe Long. We then jump into the reason we are here this week: Chanel Williams, Karen Dinsfriend, and Kimberly Hopps. 

On our last episode before CrimeCon, we discuss the remaining victims of Bobby Joe Long and our plans for New Orleans. 

This week we discuss our trip to bobby's execution. With this episode we discuss some of the topics covered in the CC presentation. While this episode is the end of our journey with Bobby, it is just the beginning of our journey with the victims. 

We are back from New Orleans and will discuss our experience at CrimeCon 2019. 

This week we discuss some updates on Season 1 & 2. We also discuss what will be happening in the next few weeks as we get season 3 rolling. 

This week we begin by introducing you to Gerald Stano. Gerald was an American Serial Killer responsible for over 20 murders (41 by his account). We will cover his early childhood years through middle school. This season is going to be all over the place, Stano is very different from the other killers we have talked about.
