My 38-year entrepreneurial story
1987 - Published a local print music magazine in St. Louis, MO
1993 - My first book was published
1994 - Got an AOL account and started marketing by email
1996 - Self-published “Guerrilla Music Marketing Handbook” in a three-ring binder
1999 - Learned HTML and created my first web pages
2001 - Sold PDF downloads of my books from my website
2004 - Published my first blog post
2004 - My book “Guerrilla Music Marketing Handbook” appeared in the movie “School of Rock,” starring Jack Black
2005 - Published my first podcast
2006 - Uploaded my first video to YouTube
2007 - Created an online course for Berklee College of Music called “Music Marketing 101”
2007 - Joined Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
2016 - Uploaded my first affirmation video to YouTube (when my channel had 3,600 subscribers)
2020 - Reached 100,000 YouTube subscribers and received the silver plaque
2023 - My Affirmation Meditation podcast reached 5 million downloads
2024 - Reached 400,000 YouTube subscribers
2024 - Became a Hay House Teacher (my affirmations are in the EmpowerYou audio app)
2025 - Published my 18th book, “Unstoppable”
